So at the end of all this we have an aging striker and a young untried striker?

Let’s hope Trossard finds his scoring boots after Saturday again as looks like we will be relying on midfield to get the goals.

No - as has already been pointed out on here, we've also got Gross, Trossard, March, Propper and Maupay to play in fluid attacking roles.

Correct. I’m really not that bothered. Some think we’ve lost Pele. More like Pingo.

Only one of which is a striker.

So we have:-

An aging striker.
A young untried striker.
&
A good championship striker

Plus a handful of attacking midfielders, wingers and one defensive midfielder who inexplicably keeps finding his way into the attacking list.

Your view of strikers is showing you up to be a dinosaur in 21st century football

Who needs strikers, especially ones who don’t score very often or get sent off as many times as they score :lolol:

We’ll be relying on our prolific midfield...oh

Oh well maybe Connolly is the new Michael Owen

You could go crazy trying to work out what is going on at BHA at the moment.

........... or to put it more succinctly, plenty.

I wouldn't call that 'plenty' for Mr Hughton and his style of play, let alone an attack minded, keep ball, expansive manager like G-Pot.

We won’t be relying on Murray and Connelly. We will have Gross, Trossard, March, Propper and Maupay all having chances in this fluid and ever changing system once everyone is up to speed. May take a few more games yet though. Keep the faith.

Most are midfielders. Let be realistic here. If Andone goes is leaves us massively short up top. Not a fan of Andone but to offload him and Locadia without adding anyone is utterly .ridiculous

I simply cannot get my head around this.

Well he's suspended for three games now so there is that. Another red card seems him out of a large proportion of the season and there's a good change of that.

Luckily we're only loaning out 1 striker and a DJ.

Given Potter seems immensely keen on giving Connolly a decent chance, we have 3 'central' strikers for essentially one position in the front 3
Andone, ever since he joined us, has looked like a walking yellow/red card
We'll get goals from Trossard for sure given the number of opportunities he's creating for himself

No idea what's gone on behind the scenes but this smacks of Potter being very clear that Andone has failed his no dickheads refresher exam for whatever reason.

An injury to Maupay in particular and we're going to look light, but there's no way the club would have taken this decision lightly. Probably a bit of a punt on getting through to January and then splashing out perhaps (or something happening on the Percy Tau front)

Two of which have already gone (I presume cup games count?)
