Sky sources understand Everton have made a £55m bid to Crystal Palace for Wilfried Zaha.

There are no Everton players involved in the offer.

Didn't they get the memo? They are not allowed to offer what they think he's worth, only what the big nosed silly haired twit says they should.

Is this the start of the long awaited bidding war?

They can offer whatever they like. If it doesn't reach Palace's valuation of the player, they won't get him. Parish has been insisting that £80m will be required, which probably actually means that we'd accept somewhere in the region of £70m. I don't think Everton will be able to afford him.

Exactly this . But you’re wasting your time they just don’t get it .

if you offload zaha, do you think you can avoid relegation?

Actually it’s cluttered up with thumb ups. :)

Which is rather heartwarming for a ‘piece of vermin’.

You do realise that "thumbs up" are public. So we can all see that you're lying..... don't you?

Amazing levels of sadness. Resorting to lying about being popular. I thought you were one of the better GOONS as well.

Clearly not, oh dear.

I think we'd probably stay up but it certainly wouldn't be as comfortable as it was last season. We survived under Pulis with a side far less talented than the one we've got now.

The chances of us offloading AWB and Zaha for a combined £120m+ and then failing to spend any of the money on replacing them are fairly low, I'd suggest.

No my mentally deficient friend. We get it completely. The whole shitstorm is win win for us as we laugh at you. Again. It's great!

If Zaha does leave in this window, it means that Palace will have sold two products of our academy for deals somewhere in the region of £120m. I think that's quite impressive, to be honest.

So you mean you might break even this season?

He is way overpriced... He wants to leave.. what gives?

Zaha's entourage have been trying to secure him a big move for the last few years. Every summer we get a mess like this, the window ends with Zaha still at Palace, and he continues to run the show for us. If Zaha really was desperate to leave, he probably shouldn't have signed a long term contract last year.

One of two things are likely to happen:
1. Zaha will leave for a fee that Palace are willing to accept. This is likely to be somewhere in the region of £70m.
2. Zaha will stay at Palace. He's probably won't throw his toys out of the pram because he's a local lad, and has a close connection to the club.

I'll be honest; I haven't ever paid much attention to our finances/accounts. I find it really boring.

I think, however, that last year was the first year since promotion in 2013 that Palace didn't make a profit?

We know, we know. It’ll be quickly spunked on another useless £130,000 a week striker.
