That is incorrect. Vote Leave dropped its appeal 29th March and paid the fine.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-47755611

Your link is about Vote Leave. His is about Leave.eu. They are different organisations, BOTH of which have been fined. Only Leave.eu's has been described as a "technicality" - by its own spokesman on two alt right blogs, Guido and Westmonster.

So strictly speaking that's two different leave organisations that have both been fined. Leave.eu, before we forget was formed by insurance bigwig Aaron Banks who could, believe it or not, make a fortune selling travel and medical insurance when EHICs go.........

The unimplementable fantasy was the Brexit promised to the public, the full cream 'have our cake and eat it' version which was never ever going to be available, the one that would offer frictionless trade with the EU, access to the single market and the freedom to crack deals round the world to our huge benefit. The only Brexits that could be guaranteed were the two at the opposite extremes of the spectrum. All May has achieved in two years' negotiating is a deal within close waving distance of one of them.

Imagine a situation where an Elon Musk type figure announces to the country that he is producing a brilliant new car that uses no fuel, charges overnight, is dead cheap and available right now.

People listen to his pitch and say... 'm'mmm, that sounds a deal. I'm going to sign up for one of those now.'

A couple of weeks later the old rogue comes back and says... 'Well actually I don't have a car that can do all those things. I just made it up. However, I can give you a car that uses no fuel, but it is very expensive. And if you don't fancy that I can give you a car that's dead cheap and available now, but it's just a boring old diesel.

'What? you want to reconsider your order? You've got to be joking. You ordered a CAR didn't you? That's what I'm offering you. Stop trying to wriggle out of it you, you, whining loon.'

So unlike you to completely misrepresent something. Nearly every country in the world has 'access' to the single market and freedom to make their own trade deals (unless they are in the EU) so that's not an 'unimplementable fantasy' as for 'frictionless' trade well that is yet to be negotiated but even Canada managed to get a deal that removed 98% of tarriffs. Yes, May has woefully mishandled the negotiating process, partly her fault, partly the parliamentary arithmetic but that does not prove that we could only ever get two types of deals at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I can't remember a single instance when the leave campaign said we could get all the supposed benefits of EU membership with none of the obligations (have our cake and eat it) perhaps you could provide a few examples? Whereas I do remember the main thrust of the campaign was take back control of our money, borders, laws, improved democratic accountabilty, soverignity .... unimplementable fantasy? I also remember numerous people on both sides saying this was a once in a lifetime decision.

You have comprehensively misunderstood Brexit in it’s entirety.

David Davis claimed we could do deals with individual EU Nations during the campaign while Liam Fox said a free trade deal with the EU would be the easiest in human history

Vote Leave claimed on Facebook targeted ads, among other bollocks, that we could start improving Yorkshire flood defences with the money we saved. Not trade but nothing to do with taking back control

So which 'leave' did you vote for, customs union or hard border?

It is worth reading Adrian Yallands tweet thread in full. He is a Leaver, but an honest Leaver. His opinion is that the biggest threat to Brexit is Brexiters.

In the meantime, Otto's chart shows just how many opt outs we have. More than any other country.

It also isn't a comprehensive trade deal either.

Also not fully implemented yet and has no aspect whatsoever of services (the thing that Britain excels at)?

Is that the same Canada deal that JC Footy Genius is talking about?
