We'd be better off boycotting the idiots who started, continued with and will eventually screw us over because of this gargantuan fook up.

Which idiots?

The ones that voted in a referendum for this or the politicians dealing with it

The X-trail, which has NEVER been built outside of Japan is more the victim of people turning away from diesel motoring.

They should get over it. They won.

They won't though as Nissan has ensured many people in the Northeast had a well paid, steady job, still you get what you voted for

Just reporting what was discussed on the news saying that it was also linked to Diesel engine sales.

Sorry, I don’t know every model and engine option for all cars - my bad.

The problem is the Brexit crowd who walk round with their fingers in their ears, going la la la and LEAVE MEANS LEAVE just spout the same old un-researched rubbish so needs to be challenged

I'm seriously thinking of boycotting Wetherspoons further to the Propaganda they put though our door the other day.

If you hate Europe so much Martin, why do you still sport a 1980s German Mullet?

Not me, I get why companies might feel they need to leave. You do what’s best for your business and they have weighed it up and and decided they’ll be better off somewhere else. Short term or long term, who knows. Them’s one of the consequences of Brexit.

Life would be pretty tough if we did

Nissan, Sony, airbus, Panasonic, Dyson, Jaguar Land Rover, just off the top of my head.

More shame on our government for not listening

More shame on our POLITICIANS for not listening

Get it right.

Someone will be along in a minute to list all the companies that are rushing to these shores because of Brexit.

Yeah, I reported what was said on the news. I need to tell Sky to do better research.

Maybe I tried to be like so many remainers, and listen to what is on the news and just repeat it. You know those things like “Despite Brexit” for any good news economic story or “Because of Brexit” for anything bad. After all, it can’t be for any OTHER REASON APART FROM BREXIT can it? No, of course not :wrong:

61% of the Mackems voted Leave so I am sure they’ll be ok with the consequences of this

It is amusing when some Mackems still say that it's worth a little pain to "Take back Control" until other Wear Siders point out that those stating this don't actually work for Nissan and happy for others to take the pain. I would be interested to know who the £39% work for.

The diesel model was the car to be built in Sunderland, productions of the Qashqai continues apace.
As difficult as it is for appeasement brigade to Stifle their glee, thems the facts.

I know three people who work for Nissan who have had to move from Sunderland to Paris. They are devastated! :lolol:

But in all seriousness, jobs have been lost from Nissan in Sunderland. That is due to Brexit.

Also consider EU-Japan trade agreement is 0% tariff to enter EU. Will be 10% on WTO terms so makes sense to scale back production there. Will only make Nissan uncompetitive

Nissan actually put on redundancy papers that staff were being laid off because of an event that doesn’t happen until March 29th 2019?Very odd.
Next you’ll be coming with an anecdote that Euro Disney was built in Paris because We voted for independence in 2016.....laughable old guff.
