That only makes sense if Newcastle weren't huge favourites for the title !!

We are 1 point behind them with half the season played and a home game against them which SHOULD give us the advantage so not sure if they are the huge favourites they were at the start.

And if they draw against the other 4 top six sides that is 8 points they drop plus a win for us against them makes it us 10 points in front and even if they beat us it would still be a difference of 5 points.

A draw sounds decent, but I guess the sensible answer is a News win.

Wednesday win, we win, we got top and still have all the points cushion.
This is the result we want, c'mon the Owls and Seagulls !

Hope Norwich beat Reading, and Birmingham win v Derby.

I'd prefer a draw between Norwich and Reading; I'm not sure that Norwich are out of this quite yet. It I also want to see Reading dropping points a bit more regularly.
Brum win or even draw would be fantastic. Derby is the biggest threat imho.
Toon win preferred over a draw. Owls win least preferred, but still has an upside for us.

I want the gong. I would hope CH wants the gong as well. I KNOW the players will want the gong.

On that basis I want Sheff Wed to win. They've demonstrated enough fragility this season that they can be relied upon to then drop points they shouldn't - see away defeat to Burton Albion for example - that they can win this and still not be a major threat to us.

I think Newcastle to win or a draw - don't want a Wednesday win. The gap between us and the pack is the most important thing.

Newcastle absolutely. Wednesday have very good players, are hitting form and capable of going on a long winning run. Plus I wont forgive them for last seasons play off and cheering as Knockhart got taken off. Us being second keeps us in newcastles shadow ready to pounce later in he season.

A draw, surely that's the best result? Could be enough to put us top and pull a further two points clear of :lolol: Just need our lads to win!

Wednesday to win.

We went up as Champions 2010-11 and haven't looked back (apart from 2014-15) so the symettery of going up as Champions would be fitting.
