If Tony decided to replace your stripes how would you feel ?

Broad stripes are the biz.

Our form is shite but we are in uproar over a kit :ffsparr:

2013/14 kit isn't exactly stripes either, don't remember many complaints then.

Think it's a bit Dagenham & Redbridge myself. Equally, any time you put considerably more blue than red in your kit, you're that one small step closer to having good taste :)

Kits have never really bothered me much to be honest. Nowadays where they have to constantly find new designs, theres always going to be someone upset. If it was not for the fact that our form is so great, I would be furious about this. I may even start a petition.

Just to give you something else to think about
Thanks, much appreciated.

how would you feel about having a new kit without the stripes ?
I'd be ok with it, we've had kits without stripes in the past.

most palace fans are having a meltdown ( not on your scale )

The away is fine and is pretty much liked across the board but the home ? ,well , tell me what you think ?:glare:
Don't care, got my own problems.

Questions for you:
1) Within a week or two, we'll have failed in our bid to win promotion (thanks to the FA), and you'll have won the FA cup. Are you going to celebrate with your friends, then come back here quietly when the dust has settled (I'm guessing 2019), or are you going to be straight on here being a ****?
2) Do you think Stephens' red card was correct?

The bottom one is with stripes added

Well, let's just say you won't get me buying one, let alone wearing one.

Right question 1
I still reckon you will go up but if you don't you've had a great season . I hope we win the cup as it will be great for football and yes I will be on here

Question 2
It wasn't a straight red but the ref gave it you lost your appeal so you've got to stop wingeing and get on with it . It's still in your hands but some posters have already started with the excuses .

I will make myself be be objective: I think it looks alright...6/10. At least you keep your colour identity unlike Cardiff switching from blue to red, but the stripes look better. I recall that Malcolm Alison introduced the red and blue stripes to bring some Barcelona type glamour to sarf London, but even Barca have been messing around with their shirt in recent years. Anyway, I take the view that you should vote with your wallet - if your club introduce an abomination don't buy it.

The 1960s kits were nice. West Ham colours, but in attractive stripes. The garish 70s, however, are abominable, and it hasn't got any better. A few years ago, the shorts were a slightly different shade of red to the shirts, making it look like the kit had been cobbled together by someone's slightly colour blind mum, with a limited budget, shopping in different shops for the tops and shorts.

Personally I grew up with the 'Sheffield Wednesday' style Brighton shirts, blue body, white sleves, blue cuffs, and still like them best. Probably not something to admit on this of all days :lolol:

Palace's red and blue has always produced the most gruesome, vomit-inducing home kits in the league. Its like a 6 year old has been let loose with the crayons and has simply gone straight for the brightest and most gaudy colour combo he can find, mashing it together into some unholy migraine-inducing alliance.

Bright red and blue stripes do NOT belong on a football kit. They belongs on a warning sign for toxic waste. They belong on an eight foot fence surrounding a leper colony. They belong on a jester costume. And yet year after year, Palace still prance out in some other god-forsaken combination of this visual abortion of a kit, and cause everyone to adjust their TV sets when they emerge blinking into the light from that shabby little tunnel in the corner of that hovel they call a stadium.

And don't give me Barca as another example of red and blue. They at least have the decency to turn the contrast down to make it a deeper rouge and nearer mauve on their kit. Palace's is just offensive.

You look less like Jesters without the small yellow additions, which is a shame for comedy value :nono:

Same here.

I'd be happy to go back to that kit
