Brighton and Hove Albion play in blue and whites stripes. Any change would be an abomination.

That Porto kit is MINT, as is their stadium which looks like the Amex on steroids.

As for the Palace kit, it doesn't seem like a massive departure from their usual ghastly red and blue stripes really. If that was us, I'd shrug my shoulders and put it down to another example of the bog standard blatant profiteering of the modern age. I am amused that so many Nigels are apparently outraged by it. I'd say I haven't read anything quite so soppy since that Fulham fan trawled various forums asking everyone to sign his petition for Al Fayed not to change their badge.

Didn't Palace have a white shirt with diagonal stripe in the seventies? I guess if they've been playing in vertical stripes for a significant period of time then it would be controversial.

It might grow on me but I don't know , we have wavered before and gone without stripes but this time it is obvious it isn't liked . With the away kit we've gone with the iconic sash but jazzed it up abit and I like it , in general away kits can be experimental but the home , in my view , should be instantly recognisable and with our stripes we had that . Here's the away one

I'd say it still is. How many other sides play in red and blue stripes? Dagenham - is that it?

I know what you're saying but I just associate us with red and blue stripes ( thinner ones ) .
