Its not about being top its the fact that we are throwing good chances away when we play poor sides missed a pen last week when we were on top and let a 2 goal lead slip today it all depends on how you view it

I tend to view it as an Albion fan of 30 years who's used to swanning around in the lower leagues who is currently unbeaten, top of The Championship and clear of third by 6 poiints... but maybe I'm weird eh?

The lead could be cut to just 1 point after 'Boro win.
Apart from injury enforced, substitutions should try and be saved till at least the 75 min mark.
We don't get points back for rescinded cards.
Did sound like the ref was a bit biased to the home side at times.

Does it matter about boro?
I'm just happy we've still got the 6pt gap to 3rd spot... That's what really matters

Why the hell remove Baldock with Bobby and Murphy off and no striker on the bench?

I'm genuinely concerned that this over-cautious approach could slowly strangle our confidence.

I tend to view it as a Albion fan of 43 yrs

Subs too early Hughton :ffsparr:

Yes, for the first time this season I think Hughton has got it wrong.

Baldock should have stayed on and if another sub was to be made, perhaps it should have been someone stronger than March. Crofts or Dunk, as inevitably Bolton were going to go long.

I think anybody would have grasped the position we are in today 4pts clear after 9 games and still unbeaten the only team isn't it? And people are still moaning ffs. Maybe they prefer us to be bottom...... Weird

Of course they would especially after last year, but surely you would agree both last week and this week were opportunities missed.

Disappointed. Only plusses that we didn't lose and Rosenoir seemed to be strong on the right. One short of the record undefeated start to the season (League only) is not to be sneezed at!

Minuses: that Baldock did not have the pace on the shoulder against Prince and Greer cannot cover when Bruno went forward. And our vulnerability to simple floated centres to a big man.

Right now I feel we will miss out on the last match of the season. And Bolton wil probably avoid relegation by the same narrow margin.

It swings in roundabouts. We ground out wins against Hull and Ipswich and Forest IMO. 2 point a game average gets you up in this league. We should have held on today but we didn't but we are taking points from games we would have lost let year and winning games we were drawing. Personally i would enjoy it whilst we can. We are top of the league for another weekend. Next weekend we could possibly lose it we could possibly stretch the lead again. No easy games in this league for any team.

Spot on. We had 9 points after 9 games last season and were 17th. Norwich were top on 20. I'll take this for now, disappointing as the circumstances leading to the last couple of results have been.
