Mistake to take Baldock off and go with no front men though.
Chris needs to grow a pair.
We're better than he seems to think we are.

Yeah ok but the writing is on the wall for us as usual!

Unbeaten and top? It's not exactly doom and gloom. Every other club in the Championship wants to be where we are. 6 points clear of 3rd still. Still may as well wave the white flag now hey :shootself

In a strange turn of events I am becoming increasingly more nervous after we score because either we're going to switch off or CH is going to make the good old striker off, Ince on change and we're then going to have to endure a ton of pressure. I don't like that.

We should keep chasing the game whether we're one goal ahead or four.

This, all day. Even at home against Rotherham we looked terrible trying to defend our lead at the end. He's got to change it or we will continue to throw leads away and slip down the table.

The lead could be cut to just 1 point after 'Boro win.
Apart from injury enforced, substitutions should try and be saved till at least the 75 min mark.
We don't get points back for rescinded cards.
Did sound like the ref was a bit biased to the home side at times.

Dissapointing but it sounds like a fair result, can't blame anyone really, if Greer had put his chance away, if Kayal hadn't messed up, if Murphy rightly or wrongly hadn't got sent off. Onward and upwards for what should be a good home crowd against Cardiff. Hopefully we can see through another international break top of the league.

This is not a bad afternoon. Everyone else challenging for the top 2 dropped points. We played poorly, had a harsh red against us and still drew. It's just disappointing that it was in injury time.

It's hard to be critical as not only have the results been brilliant this season, but it's been great to watch too.

However, there are two issues that I think we need to resolve if we are going to stay where we are.

1) We do not kill off teams when we have the chance to, and eventually that was going to cost us. We should have been 3-0 up at Fulham at half-time, 2-0 up against Hull inside 20 minutes, out of sight at Huddersfield by half-time and 3-0 up against Ipswich before they scored. We should also not have been holding on against Rotherham. However, the facts are that we didn't score the goals we should have done against any of those teams so held on to one-goal wins. It's fairly obvious that won't always be the case, so we need to start putting games to bed when we are so clearly better than a lot of the teams we are up against.

2) Hughton acts far too quickly to replace a striker with Ince in every match we are winning. All it does it invite pressure and concentrate more of the match in our last third. There was no need to make that substitution after 60 minutes today, and 15 minutes later he took Baldock off too so we had no strikers left on the pitch. Having someone upfront who can hold the ball and keep it at the other end of the pitch for 30 seconds three or four times in the last ten minutes when you are holding on is crucial. How the hell did we end up with March in that role today? We will never know, but that might have cost us the match. I have no problem with making this substitution after 80 minutes, but not after 60 when we shouldn't have yet resorted to trying to hang on.

Agree with that but to fix point 1 we really ought to have signed a more prolific goal scorer IMO.

Its not about being top its the fact that we are throwing good chances away when we play poor sides missed a pen last week when we were on top and let a 2 goal lead slip today it all depends on how you view it
