I find it hilarious how we are now suddenly irrelevant to BHA, easy to say now that we are light years ahead of Brighton in every way. Oh yeah, i forgot your lovely ground. Palace are spoken about by every pundit going of being now an established mid table club, who should be aspiring for top8. No shame in losing to Arsenal, they are a great side. Every single player who played for Palace yesterday, would walk into to your side. Enjoy the shadow, its going to be like that for a long while. For the record, ill miss the games between the both of us.

The entire post stinks of 'please like us and acknowledge our greatness wider footballing world,' we're not really an irrelevance dismissed by Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea fans as a small tinpot club making up the Premier League numbers.

I'm sorry, but are people really trying to take the piss out of Palace narrowly losing to Arsenal? Do you realise how bitter it makes us sound?

The intent of this thread was summed up in the first two posts: In short, we are happy when Brighton win and our rivals lose. Nothing bitter about that. That's the way football works.

Having taken a quick look at your posting history, you seem to have a history of correcting / defending criticisms of Palace and making predictions that Brighton will fail or lose.

I know that supporting the Albion has made a lot of us pessimistic and created inferiority complexes, but I think you should cheer up and post something positive about the Albion. Given that we have played three, won three and our strikers are finally scoring, it seems that now would be the moment to take that opportunity, before things (inevitably) start going wrong. You can do it, tell us why you love the Albion (and while you're about it, say something negative about Palace. I'm sure you'll feel so much better.)

You had a good run, but your time as 'BHA' fan 'Northern Monkey' is over. Time to choose a new user name and register again - may I suggest either 'Cheeky Monkey' or 'Palace Prick' or 'Selhurst Celtic' all three are available.

Why Cheeky Monkey? He is/was a good Albion poster!

Making up the numbers? So are you making up the numbers in the championship? Of course we are irrelevant to these clubs, are you suggesting we should expect these clubs to view us in the same way BHA do? Oh dear, new to bha are you? The only club we class as relevant is you lot, at a push Millwall if theres nothing better to do. Its one of them really, when the other team is on the up and the other isnt its great to brag. Although would love to play you more. I cant see us getting relegated anytime, so its up to you lot!

I love these threads, they have a certain bounce- back ability about them !
Good start by you lot, but some of you seem to be suffering from vertigo, and it's seems to be affecting your rational thinking.
Anyway, on to Villa next week, a chance to get back on track.
Laters.

Palace are irrelevant to us and they have been for a long time. They used to be a club with a solid support who would turn up for lower league football like Brighton. Sadly however they are plastic shadow of themselves who can only muster around 11,000 / 12000 palace fans to pay plus free tickets and away fans if playing in the Championship. They are club who need cheer leaders and the razzmatazz of playing an Arsenal to get gates of still less than we had last season when playing Fulham in a Championship relegation scrap. Pompey are more of an old school club like us and the crystal palace that we knew and had a rivalry with in the 70's and 80's has long gone. Did you see the kiddies in black waving flags around by the corner flag!?! Is that for real, I just shook my head and wondered how they have fallen so far from being a proper club. Seriously we can't have anything to do with such an American style plastic club. The rivalry has to be terminated.

No winners in this game Dougie. I think they threw in the towel onThe Hundred Years War long before things got to this stage...that said, with two Palace outed on this thread already, the end game may be somewhat closer than we think...

I'd also like to register my pleasure at a return to form for the Botster.

I trust that Buzzer's A level results have gained him access to his preferred tertiary establishment. No doubt the 6th Form Common Room will install a plaque in his memory.

I have yet to meet in person a Palace fan I didn't like, and though I try to hate them I find it difficult. Hiring Pardew as manager has made it a little easier though to be fair.

The complete opposite could be said of Portsmouth by the way.

Of course I was pleased when that shower of shite up the road lost yesterday, it rounded off a good weekend but after last season it's going to take more than a couple of wins to shake me out of the pessimistic mood I'm currently in where Albion are concerned. If we're still going well come Christmas then that will certainly change, but for now I'm not going to let myself get carried away.
