I'm not defending these people, but why do you super fans come on here moaning about the people moaning. You have to start realising that not all are 'super fans'', some pay and are casual support and are technically as justified to be there as anyone, they want to be entertained, if it's 1-3 and they want to go home then I'm afraid so be it. Happens in nearly every sporting auditorium. Snooker, darts, rugby and velodrome, I've seen early leavers at them all!

It not a case of judging yourself as a super fan at all. But if you go to support your team, the do exactly that support them. These particular numpties who my thread was about have been coming for quite some while so aren't what you would class as a casual, they are regulars, yet they seem only ever thrilled when things go wrong and they get off on it.

surely that's just kind of perverse support isn't it. Still perhaps that's what they like. I bet they even love their missus sticking a red hot poker up their anus as well ..

Living in the real world.
well that's still your own fault isn't it.
why did you not treat them to day out at the Amex as a present
you are just trying to justify leaving early .. it just won't wash!

My son comes to every home game and we both do 80% of away games. If we choose to go home at 1-3 so be it. My son has done well over 100 away games at 8 years old.

I have to confess that I was rather desperate for the equaliser. I wanted to visualise the faces of those in the bus queues upon hearing the tidings.

We have a number of much older folk in the ESU, like Phil sitting next to me, who was great value when telling me of trouble at a Palace match in the 60s today. They need to get away really. But the rapid exit today was astonishing, even by AMEX standards.

This. Crap, we were not. I don't think I've seen us control a game for such long periods and lose.

Many games this season has gone like that!

It was the people who reacted to the third Forest goal, by immediately deciding to go home, who really got my goat. I can only take pleasure in the fact that they missed nine minutes of genuinely entertaining football, enhanced with an encouragingly decent Albion goal by a debutant.

They narked you as well, did they Ed? Funny, I said to the bloke a couple of rows in front of me that they were welcome to push off back to the Emirates or wherever. The number who left early against Arsenal made me laugh too. Up to people to leave early if they want I suppose, but I have to say I wasn't in a good mood at the time.

No not me but so many of the total morons who come to games and seem to actually revel when things don't go well.

Biggest example today ... some total f I n g dumb nut sitting WSL block F and I would guess circa Central of row O or P who, when Kayal came on and his first touch of the ball was not the best it could have been, let out almost a cry of glee .. honest I could not believe it, just how bleed in g bad is it?

But the same tw at almost wet himself with excitement and leapt around like a demented idiot when he scored !

Just why do these dickheads bother coming to a match? I'm becoming more convinced that they actually want to see us fail.

just F off, stay at home, and don't bother coming. Go and support some premiership team via means of looking At them on a TV screen.

And if by chance it was you, and you are reading this thread I hope you are so very proud of yourself, you are a D I C K

Isnt it some bloke just getting emotionally involved in game? I dont do this kind of stuff but doesn't bother me if someone else does - many people go to football to let their hair down a bit and have a good moan. And then have a good cheer five seconds later. Who's it really harming?

I hate to say it but it sounds like this bloke had a more fun day out than you :)

The exodus after the 3rd goal may have huge ramifications on STH renewals next season, whatever division we are in I fear many will not renew next season

Played well today especially first half. We're incredibly unlucky not to win let alone draw. Worrying that again we didn't get the points we deserved - some poor set piece defending and not clinical enough up top again (just to counter balance my first point.) Yet still some people can't take losing on the chin and have to make out we were crap. We weren't.

Agree with this ... although I believe Forest were there for the taking but we were outdone by two set pieces, sometimes the script is written and at the moment we are now locked in a 4-team league table and WE WILL need to pick up points away at Wigan and Millwall to give us a chance. The loan window could be very important to us

Their was little time left when they scored their third goal so why prolong the agony,at least it reduced the time to board a bus.

Did you go then as well? if so god you missed a great last 10 minutes . still I bet it was fun in the short queue if you were there:lolol:

There was a father and son combo in our row today who managed to miss 40 minutes of the game by the simple ploy of arriving late, leaving their seats early before half time, returning late after half time and leaving early at the end (before Forest's third goal).

I saw five goals. They managed to see one.

The serial drinkers/early leavers in front of me, also only saw 1 goal.

They have missed EVERY SINGLE GOAL in amex history scored between 40 & 50 mins and from 80 minutes onwards.
From Buckley to Kayal, they have missed the lot.

Ah well, they pay their money like everyone else so they're entitled to do what they like. My youngest and I missed both first half goals because we were cold and needed the loo and left straight after the Forest third because we were just sodding cold. We're front row WSU so the concrete wall was like an ice block, not that I'm justifying leaving early to anyone. I normally wait until the end of the match and applaud the team off but didn't feel like it today. I've left early before and no doubt I'll leave early at some future match too.
