Bozza and Paul Samrah An Apology

SHOREHAM BY SEA
Clearly a day out at Fontwell celebrating a landmark birthday followed by a number of pubs in Worthing then responding to a thread on NSC is a lethal cocktail.

I stand by what I wrote in the paper this week but in hindsight shouldn't have posted what I did on NSC last night.

I would like to apologise to not only Darren (Bozza) for anything that I suggested on here but also Paul Samrah, for revealing the content of a private conversation which I in turn misconstrued.

The current goings on at the Albion are stressful and frustrating for all concerned but perhaps we should never lose sight of the fact that there are far more important things to worry about away from the Albion which puts everything into perspective.

I was onced ticked off by the BBC for saying NSC was as addictive as heroin, but I think it's time for a bit of cold turkey from Harty.

Hopefully our shared dream of watching the Albion in the top flight will hopefully one day come true ( how much the ticket will cost is another matter) until then all the best.

Harty

is that relevant to an apology? ...oh well life goes on

This is no apology at all, frankly. Blaming drink for last night's posts is one thing, but it's what you wrote in the Herald that you should be retracting, and you 'stand by that'.

So you're saying 'sorry Bozza, but I still think the club is censoring / controlling NSC'

 No apology here.

Really? I've read it as an apology for last nights behaviour which was wonderfully entertaining from all sides.

Not sure why you think Harty should apologise to Bozza for what he wrote in the Herald. Isn't that the whole point in an opinion piece, to have an opinion? And if he does truly believe NSC is controlled by the club, why should he apologise for what he believes to be the truth? Even if it is wide of the mark

Because when you find out that what you've said is "wide of the mark" it is common courtesy to correct the assertion to the same audience at the earliest opportunity.

Precisely.

He's either willfully or idiotically missed the point. He should apologise for the assertions made in his column which were very quickly proved to be a load of old bollocks. He should make this apology in the Herald. He should not blame his actions on a day on the pop.

He makes a song and dance about how it takes a big man to apologise then produces this tepid dishwater response.

I await his next column eagerly.

What are "The current goings on "at the club ?I thought the club was only trying to stem huge losses.

Voting for an increases in the FFP annual limit does not suggest the club are trying to reign in losses?

I managed to stay off NSC for 10 days last month but the need for a fix was too great in the end.

Why is it that those who have expressed a view that it is not an apology in the main are mods. Of course it is an apology what do you expect him to say or do?
I think all the mods take personally Ian's allegation that our moderating of NSC is influenced by the Club. It isn't and Ian should apologise for asserting that it is.

The fact is, though, that he seems now to have flounced off. I've given up expecting anything.

He'll be back when he wants to whore his next column.
