I've no doubt that we are and I think we're in real trouble. How we have ended up with so many loanees in the squad is beyond me.

Let me see if I can help you:-

March - injured.
Stephens - injured.
Crofts - injured.
Stockdale - injured.
Hughes - injured.
Geek & Dunk - soon to be suspended
Kemy - injured (or shitehouse)
Toko - shitehouse (or injured)
Ward - choose Burnley, late.

Then add the really obvious one I always forget.

The bottom three are really the fault of the recruitment team though

Yep it's just typical time and again we are the only team in the country that sign duds.

I wouldn't say Toko is anyone's 'fault' though.
He's just not as good as Holla, just a victim of circumstance.

Both were scouted a Bridcutt signing needed to be made, and then for whatever reason Holla came to us.

Nobody is going to turn down DH and say it's ok we already have a slightly inferior replacement.

No, we're not the only team that signs duds. But Holla isn't keeping Toko and Agustein out, Gardner is. Even after signing loads of central midfielders we still had to get another in on loan.

That is true.

Kemy is the odd deal.
From the moment he arrived through to today we have all been crying out for an attacking, passing, forward thinking, central midfielder, basically Kemy and he's not delivered.

A fact from which we have consistently suffered.

We could have 5 players on loan playing tonight. That's half the out field players. We are in deep deep shite, make no mistake about it.

Quite a few muppets out today then. A few sensible posts but the vast majority seem to be sharing a brain cell between them!!!

Not overwhelmed, but with suspensions likely coming up, can see the logic. At least changes are being made, 'something is being done', which is what a lot of people have been wanting on here.

Good that he can cover almost every position, especially CB where we are about to be short.

Sensible move from the club.

The Halford move seems quite sensible to me.

It's the Gardner and Al-Habsi that is puzzling.

Al- Habsi is ok, but then what is the point of Casper?

Stockdale nearly played Saturday, but they err'd one the side of caution, so perhaps out for 2, perhaps 3 weeks.

Gardner given the number of midfielders on our books was a strange one. The fact he is hopeless and is no better than those he is keeping out, just exacerbates the situation.
