It all seems a bit end of season which ironically it is. Shame not tomorrow as would have looked forward to the post match party.

Just does not feel right at present

I obviously really hope we win so we at least take it to the last day, but I think Monday's result has meant we've gone from having a chance of a draw at Forest possibly being enough to now knowing even two wins could easily not be enough. Therefore, it's hard to be anywhere near as interested. Plus, the Albion have let us down against so many poor teams at The Amex this season so even the prospect of a non-league outfit like Yeovil getting a result tonight fairly comfortably is very realistic.

Also, while common sense tells me that being in the play-offs would be great and we have to take promotion whatever way it comes, a sizeable part of me thinks we simply don't deserve a chance at the play-offs after the season we've had and that we're just not even close to being good enough so somehow going up could be embarrassing next year.

Word.

and OG's apparent lack of passion (I wonder if he is our 'David Moyes' - a nice guy but out of his depth, and lacking in imagination or tactical nous?), I'm actually glad that this season is almost over; I've found it one of the most frustrating in my 30 years as a Seagulls' supporter.

Why do people equate a manager that rants at the side of the pitch with being a great manager? It means bugger all. And to suggest he is out of his depth when we are 7th despite the spate of injuries we have had this season. Ulloa out for several months, Buckley in and out (no change there though!), Orlandi, Bridcutt, and all the other niggles etc is ridiculous. I do feel a little deflated with the season but would put it down more to the players not being clinical in front of goal. Tonight could have been a lot different had Buckley not wasted that golden opportunity on Monday!!!

Having listened to virtually every game this year and generally suffered the double frustration of player cutting out and being behind NSC, I forgot all about the move to friday !

Have booked a table in restaurant in a village called Marsaxlokk and then will watch the fireworks festival.

Just hope that there are some fireworks on the pitch and we win in my absence

Monday was a disaster, we had 6th place in the bag, but bottled it against a terrible Blackpool side. Now we have to rely on Reading to mess it up, Adkins will sort his players heads out, they will go into their game tomorrow knowing that 6th is theirs so long as they don't fail against another terrible side, and they won't. For me, tonight is a nothing game, nothing we do will have any bearing, so I'm hoping for a nice veggie tagine pie, a couple of pints with mates and a farewell to football till the preseason friendlies. 1/2 on the excitement scale for me.

Then again, if Donny somehow manage to wipe that grin off Adkins face tomorrow I'm all over the Forest game.

I'd have to say 5/10 for me. The disappointment of letting the opportunity slip through our fingers on monday still lingers. Today I am wearing my Calde t-shirt hoping his positive vibes will inspire us to victory and at least take the season to the last day.

Eh. It's on TV which means I expect a dull game that if we're lucky will end in a draw.

Until our first goal goes in I will be 10/10 based purely on nervous energy. When the 7th goes in I'll settle down a little.

Joking: I think this will be a tense one all the way through.. No walkover and a real risk of dropping 2 essential points. Donny WILL do us a favour tomorrow though and we'll go into the last game needing to beat Forest.

I've come back home.
Excitement = 3/10. I am looking forward to watching the game, but only becuase its always nice to see friends and family and it is probably going to be the last trip to the Amex till Jul. That and i am worried that they will be off key and we will draw.

Nerves = 5/10. We CAN do it, but will we? I haven't had a feeling like this since 2nd P/O game against those scoundrels up the road. I just do not want this season to fizzle out, providing the boo boys more ammunition.

The other 2/10 is me thinking 'balls, i am dog tired and could just sit on my sofa and watch it in my shorts and tee-shirt with a domino's and a becks'.

I can just see the result being a 0-0, a result which would relegate Yeovil and end our playoff chances.

Coming round to it . Can reading win the next 2 to make it 3 wins in a row . I'm not sure they can . I'm not sure any of the teams 6th down can when under pressure . Look at recent weeks and multiply the pressure . Can easily see them dropping points . Therefore 2 wins . Not thinking about forest just tonight .

Was a 10 for Blackpool

Been a 4 all week

Woken up an 8

You can tell from this thread the atmosphere will be crap though . Seems most have given up bizarrely
