Hate both teams, so really couldn't give a toss who wins, the best team on the night will win.

Watching it now I'm finding myself supporting Sunderland, whilst laughing at all the shit they're trying to do that is Poyet's game but failing at.

Not so much come on Gus but loving the struggles United are experiencing. I work with so many Man U fans who have gloated for years, it's really nice to see them silenced.

I'd be quite pissed off if Gus got to Wembley with another team so soon after walking out and treating so many Cup games with us as unimportant

Did he? REALLY? Or are you just joking?

THREE victories against Premier League teams - Newcastle (twice) and Sunderland. And we took two others - Liverpool and Arsenal - very close.

And you are SERIOUSLY saying he didn't care about the Cup games?

Oscar (quite rightly) rested a lot of squad against Reading - you must be hoping we don't get to Wembley as he was obviously treating the game as unimportant. Dear oh dear, what a load of ****

Not forgetting 3-2 at Villa.

You have to say our Cup record under Gus was very good. How are we doing under Oscar? Lost at home to Newport County but beat Reading... Jury's out, I'd say. If over the next couple of years we have notched up three victories against Premier League teams and taken three others very close, then he'll amazingly have done as well as Gus "who treated Cup games as unimportant."

"Poyets game?"

Explain.

Winning?
Playing nice football?
Keeping the ball on the floor?

inserting 3-4 risky and unneccessary little passes when trying to clear the ball from a corner before hoofing it aimlessly up the pitch anyway. 2CDMs and zero attacking incisiveness as a result.

No mention of Woking, FC United or Liverpool at Anfield?

Of course he took Premier League clubs seriously FFS but how about FC United, Woking, Wrexham, Gillingham, Northampton, Leyton Orient and Swindon? Hardly a balanced view you've painted in your little rant is it? You've probably forgotten his tantrums too when the fans queried the VERY weak teams he put out for some of those games. I'm not saying it's wrong just stating the facts.

Confirmation, if any were needed, that the Gus-haters are still the most vocal. Almost every post on this thread by the haters but the poll won convincingly by those wanting Sunderland to win

41% is not even a majority so hardly convincing

So the fact that Gus plays his weaker players against weaker teams suggests he doesn't take cups seriously?

That just seems like sensible squad rotation to me.

Well the 30% wanting United to win suggests the Gus haters are far less of a significant number.

It's perception I suppose, and mine is that he didn't give a feck, rightly or wrongly, against anyone but Premier League teams.
