So is the criticism aimed at those complaining about the Homophobic baiting, SOG, or the behaviour of some of our own (no doubt pissed-up) gobshites?

The criticism is aimed at the stewards who made matters worse by doing nothing at the beginning.

Frankly some of our fans need to take a long hard look at ourselves, but so do the Ipswich stewards.

There was some very mild abuse from a small minority of Ipswich fans.

But what kicked it off was the Ipswich stewards attempting to remove a Brighton fan for filming the match and or the Ipswich fans doing the abusing.

If I was told to stop filming I would have for, it's ground and league rules.

They didn't. Equally the stewards should have acted much quicker to stop the Ipswich lot.

At one point quite a number of our fans from no where near the incident got involved and there was a bit of fighting with the stewards.

To echo Bozza's post though, the sadeest thing I saw was a Brighton fan having a pop at a steward whilst his son tried to pull him back by his shirt. Son had more common sense than his dad by a long way.

So you cannot collect evidence that homophobic abuse is going on at a football match now using a mobile phone ?

I was talking about one of the Ipswich fans as it happens - the first one who was kicked out.

We were at the back on the far side from the corner so couldn't see what was going on to cause the whole kerfuffle.

Yes I knew you meant the Ipswich fan with the son. The guy was a total bell end and having seen his young son repeatedly give us the finger and make "gay gestures" clearly his son is following as well.

I was just making the point that a Brighton fan let his son down too.

And plenty of them went way way over board to what was some of the lamest homophobic abuse I have seen.

Not saying its right but it certainly wasn't worth having a fight with the stewards over.

Yes you can. But the guy had a full on camcorder and was filming the match. When he was asked to stop he didn't just accept it.

Hope it doesn't affect the VHS quality extended highlights on Seagulls Player :lolol:
