The plus points for Palace were Jedinak, who was impressive, and they kept a poor United down to two. Good noise made by the fans.

The minus points were that they created nothing (Gayle's effort was due to an error by WGT), and will have to do more to pick up points against the sides they will be competing with. Surprised they did not sell their ticket allocation too, although early kick off did not help.

Go have a pint and calm down.

Palace HAVE THE BRAGGING RIGHTS, I don't understand why fellow Brighton fans seem to think that for some reason we have the bragging rights because they're losing more regularly than us. They are playing in possibly the best league in terms of standard in the world. We have nothing to take the piss out of. Everyone knows they will lose pretty much every game, including them.

And we would have lost today, it's OLD TRAFFORD for goodness sake, barely anyone goes there and gets a win, especially a team like Palace.

Oh do shut up, please. They are Palace, why are they here? Can't they move on ? No because they have this massive inferiority complex that will never go away. What sort of apologist are you ffs......... They need eradicating.

Great analysis. Palace can't pass for shit.

F*** me, you need one of the biggest clubs in the world to beat us, on the back of some shocking refereeing, to try and get one over us. That barrel bottom is pretty much worn through.

I think you are on the wrong board for any sympathy.
If you want sympathy you will find it between shit and syphilis in the dictionary.

not even harsh, and certianly fair. Palace were not a passing side last season, not going to suddenly change that in one pre-season. and Holloway has gone round grabbing any player he can persuade to play for them, not " put a good squad together" at all.

Why the hell should I be looking for sympathy? My team is playing week in week out in the strongest league in the world, and doing better than anticipated. I'd expect a lot of jealousy directed at that, and so far that side of things seems well on track.

It's just starting to show the first few hints of things turning a little 'Hinshelwood' for palace now.

Long may it continue.

Shouldn't have been a pen, shouldn't have been a red card. Good :)

That was my favourite quote. Palace didn't pass it around in the Championship, so why start at Old Trafford

Inferiority complex? We feel so inferior to Brighton, the club that's been in our shadow for the last 30 years.

Dream on mate.

This is the Brighton that's never been in the Prem.

Come back when you've actually made it there.

Football did not begin in 1992.

Let me repeat that for you-Football did not begin in 1992. However, You lot failing to pay your bills and screwing businesses out of millions did begin around that time.

Why are you on another team's forum at 2 in the morning-bit sad don't you think?
