Possibly 'arrogant and clever', rather than 'as opposed to'. The two things are by no means mutually exclusive.

I doubt that the majority of people would read it only one way

Bruno's not getting back in, neither is Andrews.
I guess Orlandi for SD, which doesn't seem right either.

Unless we go for something crrrraaaazzzzzzzyyyy.

We've been precariously thin up front, all season.
Get Saturday out of the way, and then have 2 weeks to take stock.
We'll know who will be fit and when, by who is bought and money spent on the 2nd.

Andrews will definitely come in for Ince. (although Ince has played well).
Spanish Dave has been very poor since his return and should be dropped for Orlandi.

But as said SD and Orlandi seem to be able to get the best out of each other.

Not in the play-off's they didn't. Who would you leave out then Kemy or our second top goalscorer Crofts?

Sorry not convinced yet on SD, though he is a slow starter....

Not sure this season he's going to be given a chance to take his time coming into form as we have much more competition in midfield.

Urchin, I suggest you re-evaluate your definition of the phrase 'tap-in'. It seems horribly skewed from everyone else's!

Absolutely this.
I wasn't advocating SD stays because he and Orlandi play well together.
If Dave hadn't already gone off the boil by the play-offs it was certainly on the cards.
Oscar seems to be very keen on quick attacking accurate passing football, which SD is more than capable of and something we have become spoilt for choice.

Much stronger defensively (this season)....... Better in the air as well. Don't want Barnes in midfield though.
Neither is in the team to defend, and heading ranks way below SD's dead ball capabilities.
I certainly wouldn't want to be the player 'forced' into midfield competing for places against that unit.

Yes. He did make it look easy. But I would be worried if a professional footballer who gets paid money to kick a ball for a living is unable to get that shot on target. And seeing as he was able to get it on target, and the keeper was so off balance, I would class it as a tap-in. You might not but for me, a professional footballer should be getting that shot on target. You may disagree. If the keeper pulled off a wonder save, then fair enough, but the chances of that happening were very slim.

Orlandi would have missed it probably
