What for an incident that happened outside of HER constituency?! Absolute joke as disgrace, focus on her own constituency problems, she isn't a minister!

Where did I say that today's incident will influence me at all? I said she's been good on local issues (ie relevant to Brighton Pavilion) and she has. I'll bet she's done more for our constituency problems than most of the Tory clones elsewhere in Sussex.

Disgraceful " sitting in the back of a Police van screeching " do,you know who I am?" No love, none of your constituents have a clue.

Absolute Muppet. Watch the video in this link and you can clearly see she is as cool as a cucumber upon arrest. Fair play, good to see an MP actually stand up for something they believe in rather than snivelling around money men and sucking up to any poilcy they think will get them re-elected.

BBC News eh..... :ffsparr::lolol:

Yes, you are right.

I'd be much better off trusting one person's opinion on an internet forum, especially when it's that well-respected, paragon of objectivity Hove born&bred.

She lives in Strasbourg. She would be at the opening of a fridge door. Silly bint.

If the fridge door is in Brighton Pavilion, then she's doing very well in that case. Anyway, I think you'll find that that was when she was a MEP.

i read this morning she said "i'm prepared to be arrested". to be arrested means you are breaking the law (or resonable suspicion of). so a member of parliament went out today with the intention of publically breaking the law? marvellous. (im aware they do so frequenty un-publically, i do expect at least some discretion)

Although a large number of folk are arrested even though the police know full well they are not breaking the law.

I have met Caroline, I like Caroline, and I would vote for her. It's great to have an MP who is different and stands up for what they believe in.

As much as people throw their bile at her, it is unlikely she will be unseated at the next election.

Lucas says she is a feminist. Yet she has shared a platform with those who believe that adulterous females should be stoned to death. In 2004, Lucas supported the International Network Assembly for the Protection of Hijab (Pro-Hijab), which was formed in response to proposed headscarf bans in France and parts of Germany. Its aim was to "dispel myths about the hijab", to lobby to reverse bans already brought in and to prevent more "abuses of democracy" being imposed. Lucas joined the former Respect MP George Galloway and London's ex-mayor Ken Livingstone on the platform at the assembly's publicly-funded City Hall launch.
The guest of honour was Livingstone's old friend Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the head of the European Council for Fatwa and Research, who has spoken in favour of female genital mutilation, wife-beating, the execution of homosexuals in Islamic states, the destruction of the Jewish people, the use of suicide bombs against innocent civilians and the blaming of rape victims who do not dress modestly.

Why do you feel so threatened by Caroline Lucas?

It's a good question. Even if he doesn't like her personality or her politics, why go to the length of lying about her being hysterical?

If people could only go places where everyone shared their exact beliefs, none of us would ever go to the Amex.
