Nottingham Forest sign striker Jamie Mackie from QPR in three-year deal #SSN
Don't know the price but potentially good signing IMO
Nope. Bang average player. Excellent news for us.

Nottingham Forest seem to have spent shed loads this summer. Not sure how that fits in with FFP as they made a £12 million loss in the last set of accounts that were released and aren't in receipt of parachute payments.

two play-off seasons at Hudds and a good start at Brum? what's he done to make him hopeless?
A few rumours about that forest have put a bid in for Austin. If true doesn't look like they care about ffp
Can't work the Forest Board out. Do they have money or are the missing the point re FFP? Seems a high risk strategy.
A lot of bewilderment as to Nottingham Forest and there excessive spending.
For those not in the know it seems they have found a loophole. They are now sponsored by one of the chairmans other companies.
You're missing two players in for t'Albion
Oh and Charlie Austin is an OUT for Burnley.
Other than that, very good indeed.
He's taken it from another forum, not his own work.
Perhaps I can copy and paste a journalist article and you can give me praise?
Feel free. Just don't acknowledge where it's come from.
Bournemouth have made some good signings
That. How on earth have they (Milwall) signed Nicky Bailey?
Bailey, Chaplow and Trotter will be as good as ANY midfield in the league.
Millwall are doing good business
ALL you b@stards beat me to it. Millwall - WOW. Anyone got their odds for promotion? They'll be in the play-off hunt at least I would imagine.
Very interesting and a lot of those moves had completely passed me by.
Bolton, Millwall, Watford and Wigan all seem to have done especially well so far and I actually think Birmingham have made some good moves considering their low budget.
Birmingham seem finally to be refreshing their squad and have a got a bit of money in to boot, I like Clark, I think they're an outside tip for the play-offs. Wigan seem to be confidently signing people, and QPR, thing with them is that they still have loads of very good players - Loic Remy in the championship? ( no, he'll surely go, but there are others)
Millwall probably just replacing Trotter, otherwise they could be very good.
I really don't understand the patience people have with Clark. I think he's hopeless and wouldn't be surprised to see Brum struggle this season.
Depends who QPR lose between now and the 31st but I think they will be going for Shit or Bust, so expect them to start the season lively, hopefully after a few wet winter games at some of the poorer grounds in this league some of the players will lose interest.
I currently cant see past Reading for taking top spot and I'm sure Wigan will enter the Playoff fold, Coyle took Burnley up previously although didnt do too great last season with Bolton so who knows.
I would imagine the table will look fairly similar to last season but I see a bottom six of Yeovil, Doncaster, Blackpool, Birmingham, Bournemouth and Hudds.
Agree with Munkfish that Blackpool could also struggle. I have a feeling that Yeovil might just exceed expectations though. Barnsley look to have bought well and are still active in the market. Flitcroft has impressed thus far. I think Hudds will be fine.
Debatable after today, I'd say.(with regard to Bournemouth signing good players)
