Hither (sometimes Thither)
He's finally playing attacking tennis, the Muzza. Pumped up and ready for action. I hope if he gets to the final he doesn't wait until the third set with Djokovic to really have a go at him.

This is bullshit. No other country would do this to their own player. Murray would have this won, in the time it will now take to close the roof and sort out the air.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
An embarrassing amount of spectators don't know the rules when it comes to the ball striking the other player and bouncing back over.

Edit: What a brilliant time to cool off and suspend the match :dunce:

Yes you can start it earlier

In fairness, the show courts have started at 1:00 pm every day of the tournament (once upon a time they started at 2:00 pm) and have scheduled 3 matches a day and have got them all completed on time. Today they scheduled only 2 and the first one overran. You can hardly schedule a semi-final any earlier than 12:30 pm, so them starting half an hour earlier would still have resulted in the roof being required.

Although it broke his momentum, the place will be rocking when Murray gets back out there. I think Murray will only need one more set to close out the victory.

Why not start at eleven? I fail to see how that would ruin things. As it is, this may run on until tomorrow.

Because players tend to like to have an hour's practice before they play. They'd be doing that 8:00 am if you had an 11:00 am start, added to which a fair chunk of the crowd will be off eating their strawberries for elevenses at that time.
