I saw the statement is imminent post on NSC just before 8 and went on the Seagulls site but there was no statement. I would be very surprised how it could have been there at 7.15

I don't know for sure, perhaps one of our HR people can confirm one way or the other, but I am fairly certain you cannot announce the out come of an internal investigation without informing the defendant lawyers first. So i would say its fairly certain Poyet or his lawyers would have known before the BBC told him.
