ye and whoever posted earlier that he never praises the fans...perhaps they should have watched that

He's possibly just trying to curry favour with them.

You really think that Poyet would lie on TV which could be easily proved wrong by an email, text or call shown by the club which would prove Gus a liar and end his managerial career? Really?

It wouldn't be the first time Poyet has engaged mouth before brain on air.

I think Poyets ego would suggest he will say what he thinks people will want to hear. I am staggered he made any comments at all. Surely his lawyers would have said to him to say nothing, if in fact he had just been sacked on live TV? In fact I am amazed they never pulled him out of the stuido if that was the case.

Gods country fortnightly
Gus tried to make it look like he was the victim and that the BBC had some scoop, when of course he knew all about it. I guess he is in damage control now. Really pity its ended like this but it has..

Fancy announcing his intention to appeal on live TV.

Surely this should have been done through his lawyers direct to the club, before announcing it live on TV??

Legally, he would be a fool to say anything other than 'I intend to appeal'. Keep his power dry at the very least.

This whole episode just goes from the sublime to the ridiculous. Our next permanent manager might only have about a fortnight for pre season. Hope TB boxes clever with his next move to make it a seeemless transition.

Which is why I firmly believe the clubs timing of the announcement was 100% deliberate.

No, the statement came out at 7.15. The club website is correct with timing - for some reason it wasnt linked to Twitter until 8PM.

No it didn't. It came out at 8 o'clock. Have a look at Naylor's and BBC's tweets saying statement was imminent. Was all done a few minutes before 8.

And sacking him on live TV isn't disgraceful? Wow.

They didn't sack him on TV, HE CHOSE TO AIR IT ON TV, he should have told the BBC he didn't want to talk about it........are you deliberately ignoring the facts........

He has just said he wants to speak to the players and get back to managing us next season....... Slightly different to the shit he came out with after the Palace game. I take he feels he have no longer hit the roof then??

Why are people on here still believing every word the man says???

why should we believe exactly what you say either
who the **** are you appearing after the palace game with all this shite
