I think we would all have taken that result at the start - but probably not after 35 minutes! Still, we definitely have an advantage back at the AMEX. Such a shame that FFS won't be there to enjoy it...

Not convincing was it eh?
Let's see what happens back at our house.
We looked unprepared and thought we could just walk it.
Just goes to show how prepared the teams are for the play offs.
Nighty night.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
A very interesting evening of sporting events for teams from the local area!

Sussex got a win in the Cricket, Brighton got a draw in the football, and Eastbourne Eagles were anniallated at Coventry in the speedway.

Followed it all online with lots of swinging emotions tonight!

All set up for a tense match on Monday!

To be honest Zaha lucky to get out of that scrappy team.....saying that I doubt very much on his performance over the last half of the season Man U would not have bought him.

Palace would make West Ham blush, 2nd half tactics seemed to be boot it up in the air and muscle Brighton on the 50/50 balls.

I hate them too but dislike seeing Murray injured, especially at this stage of his career.

I love it. He's just signed a new contract so will be being paid for the next 3 years whatever happens.

That'll do - definitely settle for that. I think we'll MESS them up good and proper on Monday.

Dunno if it's already been mentioned but Bolasie looked so much more dangerous than that blond little girl he replaced.

Was that Palace fan trying to hug Zaha with one hand and grab his shirt with the other? Well done Zaha for giving it to someone else.

Well done lads. I am feeling hot and sweaty now. Played some lovely stuff in the first half, got better after a very worrying first ten mins of the second. Hopeful about Monday, but not dead confident. Still, we looked the classier side. Actually feel sorry for Murray, but that's football.

decent result in the end, would have taken that at the start. Referee did well, let quite a lot go in both directions (though wouldn't have known it from the commentary) but it was competitive rather than dirty in general I thought. Bodes well for Monday. Sorry for Murray though, don't want that for anyone.
