Will be interesting. 2 weeks preparation and rest. I think he may just decide not to change a winning XI. What impressed me was that despite it being an attacking line up, the defensive work rate and responsibility was still there. Palace had their best spell in the first half, and we kept them out, and for the most part (other than Parr's effort) limited them to few actual attempts on goal (I'm not counting Upson's attempt at scoring for them!).

I think that line up can work away from home. Wouldn't be surprised to see it unchanged.

I hope you're right. It's dependent on Spanish Dave being able to put a proper shift in every week I think. Perhaps start like that then Hammond or Crofts to come on later, as with yesterday.

Come on, you know the mindset of NSC's finest. We win = Poyet's a genius. We lose = Poyet out.

Don't forget to throw in the fact that unless you have had a NSC account since pre 2008 your view doesn't count.

I don't think most people would deny mistakes have been made even Poyet himself (although probably more than he would admit to) ..but a lot of what some claim are mistakes are also matters of opinion or general bias ..back to work this week?

People like you, Kevtherev, Mutts Nutts, Pork Pie, DBL, Kr_Husty and Goldstone can't slag BHA off continually and just shrug it off.

You will be moaning again in a week or two and you know it!

Good post!

Yep..back to work. I've had worse Monday's though. Even the hangover didn't seem as bad as normal on a Monday. I quite liked that 12 o'clock kick off. Back home and in the pub by 3.30...Great stuff, can we have some more of them. Set's you up a treat for a good old drink in the afternoon.

Wrong...People can say what they like, many great men died so we can have freedom of speech. I say it as I see it and if people don't like it I couldn't care less. That's what a forum's all about...Poyet got it right yesterday and deserves the praise and for the record, I was shocked when I saw the side. If we had lost, I would have still said he picked the right side. Which he did and we won. Least not forget we have won one game in four and are still 7th. Judging by some people on here in the last 24hrs, you would think we had won the champions league. Poyet got it right yesterday and long may it continue. But if in the next game, he dropped Lualua, put Hammond back in, or played Vicente at the expense of Dave and Orlandi and we mess up, especially at home. People have the right to have a moan.....The whole point is we ARE good enough to go up this season.

To be fair Kev, out of the people I mentioned you do fight your corner. I don't think of you as an attention seeking troll.

2 wingers at home has been banged on about yet got slated many times :(

Barnes was needed away but with ONLY 1 striker at home we needed LuaLua and Buckley as both can be amazing or go missing.

The issue is GUS has to judge when they will be good and when not from training. LuaLua he seems to have managed perfectly since Christmas with us getting many of the amazing performances and seemingly not seeing him appear when he's not been on fire and hungry enough. LOVE GUS :)

I'm saying I think he was right to play the two wingers, going like for like with Zaha and Bolasie(who was shite). I felt before the game, if we went with two defencive midfielders i.e Bridcutt and either Crofts or Hammond, then it was sending out all the wrong signs, inviting them on and we would lose. We didn't we matched them up and we won and do you know why??? Because we have better attacking players then defencive ones. Hopefully the penny has dropped, it's been obvious for ages....I just fear Poyet will revert to type, especially against the so called lesser teams....I do hope not, we are so close to something great, you can almost see the Wembley arch.

I think we all know who the plebs are on NSC; this thread proves it. Must be difficult putting your head above the parapet after such a glorious day when everyone is delirious at such a great performance & result; yet still try & claim some sort of football moral high ground.
You might pay your money, but to me, you're not proper supporters.
