That 8 game spell includes a result from 1989, I don't think game played 24 years ago can be considered an indication of what might happen on Sunday. The only really relevant results are last seasons 2 games and the 1 up at Palace this season. That does tend to point towards Palace having a higher chance of winning the game, however we've been the top 2 in the last six weeks so anything is possible.

yea 1 game so take that game off brighton have still only won 1 and drawn 1

we have also failed to beat the bottom two in the last 2 weeks

Again including games that happened nearly 10 years ago, totally irrelevant.

we have also failed to beat the bottom two in the last 2 weeks

Thus proving my point that anything can happen, well done.

whats wrong with thinking that on current form brighton wont win?

Because current form is this
1 Nottm Forest 6 5 1 0 14 3 11 16
2 Bolton 6 5 1 0 11 4 7 16
3 Watford 6 4 1 1 12 5 7 13
4 Crystal Palace 6 4 1 1 13 7 6 13
5 Hull City 6 4 0 2 12 10 2 12
6 Brighton 6 3 1 2 8 4 4 10

So it's 4th vs 6th.

If you just take into account the current form of home record and their away record then

4 Brighton & Hove Albion (7) 5 4 1 0 9 3 6 vs
17 Crystal Palace (4) 5 1 1 3 3 5 -2

That is form, the rest is history.

another pointless, so very pointless thread, what is the f**ing point of this thread, we have another one where you can put your score predictions down, what is the point of this one. MODS sort it out, FFS.

If Palace win I shall wear my shirt with pride in my office in the heart of Brighton on Monday. If Brighton win I hope to see a host of Tesco shirts across the city.

I honestly don't believe for a minute the Albion fans that think we are going to win comfortably, I think it's just a cover up in case the unthinkable happens and then they can come onto NSC and say "I said we'd lose anyway so not that bothered" or gloat till the cows come home if you win. Well done but it's obvious you're really trying to put all the pressure onto us and I don't buy it for one second! Let's look at reality here. Both teams have injuries but both should be able to field a decent first X1. You are at home and are very strong at the AMEX and we are pretty poor away. You are due a win over us. The bookies make you favourites. But... if we do you on your own pitch for the 2nd year in succession thus securing the double, it would be your WORST NIGHTMARE. We've already done our bit and beat you in our home game, and we are in a position that nobody outside of Selhurst thought we would be in at the start of the season. You cannot afford to many more defeats if you are to make the playoffs, especially given Bolton and Forest's brilliant form. The pressure really is all on you to win.

Any Albion fan who says they would not be bothered if you beat us again on Sunday is either lying or not a fan. However with all the other sides playing Saturday the idea all the pressure will be on us is ridiculous.

You will need the points to keep any hopes of an auto-spot alive we need the points to keep in touch with playoffs

Massive game for both sides and both will be under a lot of pressure as expectation mounts.

Why? Is Man United playing?

I don't get it? Palace have FAR FAR FAR more plastic fans than Albion, so it can't be that you're suggesting that.
