 Slow down, slow down! Palace have to stay in the play-offs for this to happen, and looking at their next few fixtures, they face all sorts of problems!

Derby Away: Derby have only lost TWO games at home all season. Palace's away form is average at best.
Hull Home: Hull are fourth in the form table and one of only three sides with any realistic chance of automatic promotion
Leeds Home Good chance of a win but it depends on which Leeds Utd turns up
Brighton Away Will Saha be fit? Will Murray be suspended? If the best player in the Championship has a good game, Palace will get smashed.
Birmingham Home Birmingham are seventh in the form table, and have only lost to Cardiff, Bolton & Watford in their last ten games. Great late season form.

3 Points from the next 5 games?
Middlesbrough style slump towards mid-table?

The next 5 games will make or break the Palace promotion push.

And as for us. . . . . . .we play 8 of the bottom 12 in the form table in our last 13 games. :drink:

in the playoff final against Palace.

Will we get their unsold tickets as well as our 38000 allocation?
We would sell ours easily, look at the cup replay(we had more than the manc's) and the Zenith data, the play off finals etc, we always will fill our allocation, but a league game on a Saturday 20,000+ of the glory hunting bastards who went will never show up, funny that !

I think we would struggle to sell 38,000 tickets tbh.

???????
We get get between 24-27000 every home match and there are still thousands wanting tickets for matches,
how did you come to this conclusion ?

Palace would sell more than us, quite frankly. Despite their stupid giggling at our JCLs, the Nigels are the most plastic fans in the country (except perhaps Reading).

its those 8 games that will make or break you, never think any game is easy in this league, the form book goes out the window..

Brighton would easily sell 50,000 for a game at Wembley given the allocation and if we play a club like palace who have average crowds of about 10,000 to 15,000 less than us, then we would get a larger allocation. For every season ticket holder at Brighton there are at least 2 to 5 other people like myself who follow them without going much as well as entire families in Sussex who look out for the result but may only have one or two in the family who go much. Many clubs are the same. Agree palace would find enough floating fans to also take 50,000.

How could they ? are stadium holds 27600 ish and the glory hunters as you call them may well want to go to league matches but can't afford season tickets or wouldn't buy them because they wouldn't be able to make every game.
I would rather see 38000 allocation sold than empty seats in our half of the stadium !!!

Good post. But the arrogant palace on here say they are 'likely' to get automaic promotion. Would be the funniest thing if they finished below 6th :lolol:

Took nearly 30,000 in 2004 to Cardiff. Cardiff is a lot further, not as appealing as wembley, also we were averaging 7000 and took 30,000 now we average over 25,000.

So like I say we would easy sell 38,000. I even think there would be plenty of disappointed brighton fans

What day is the play off final for the Premiership? I have a horrible hunch that I have booked a holiday for that weekend? Hope not.......

Arghhhhhhh

Monday, May 27th.

Don't go there. That's BANG in the middle of my exam period, and i'm very likely to have an exam on that day, if not the day after. I'd either have to miss the final, or go, and take a massive hit on my 2nd year marks.
