Kuszczak isn't very good

But very highly rated. Not impressed at all. I said after his performance here for Watford last season he had fluffed the audition, but we signed him and now I think he is only a slight improvement on Brezovan amd Ankergren. Routine save first half which everyone raved about and then picked the ball out of his net three times from three shots in the second half, the first two he certainly should have done better with.

If Greer can be criticised, so can Kuszczak. Not very good.

Not very good?!!
This post actually made me laugh. You are joking??!

What a ridiculous post! He's let in 3 goals, two of which were one on ones, the other a massive deflection... have you never seen keepers let goals in before? I think he's a very very good keepr for us.... and Im not one to hold back criticising the squad... for example, tonight I thought Bruno was awful, Greer slow, El Abd let Deeney through embaressingly easily for the third goal, CMS was poor up front again, - all over the park we were poor. Yet you pick out the keeper? Bizarre!

I'm genuinely suprised. I've thought for a while now Kuszczak has been really disappointing. But apparently I am in the minority. Who knew! Either way, some of the dramatic replies in this thread have been interesting, people very quick to criticise.

Funny old game, etc.

Fair enough. But I think he's been really solid. He's been let down by his defence more times than not. I respect your views and opinions on here and always have. We agree on most things, but i'm at a loss on this one. I genuinely felt sorry for him today. He's the very least of our worries in my view.

I was right in line with the second in the East.Nothing he could do about it at all. Big, big deflection. We lost tonight because we were as flat footed as the Sussex Police over 45s. Not because of the keeper. He is a very good keeper for this division.

TBH, when we lose many players get stick, some deserve it, but to blame Kuszczak in any way, is harsh and wrong in my opinion.

I think too many people have been on the beer all day! Kuszack was not at fault for the first goal. Lopez was because he was not defending, again, Bruno had a decision to make because he was covering two attackers. He chose the wrong one as the other guy flicked it on to the other attacker that Lopez should have been marking. Then the defence was all over the place.

Kuszack has saved us many, many points this season.

 Raving retard after 1 pint actually, it would seem.

Opinions, all it is. I want Kuszczak to be brilliant. I've been disappointed to a certain extent, but I was quite critical of him after his game for Watford here last season. People won't remember that, but I said then that I didn't think he'd fit the passing style. Not that it matters, he is a goalie afterall but he is beaten too easily in my opinion. I fully accept I may be totally wrong, stupid and being too hard on him, but that is my opinion.

Still better than Brezovan and Ankergren, but no Michel Kuipers.

You didn't spot the wicked deflection on the second goal, then?

What? He was left high and dry by an utter TURD back 4 today.

It's a team game. The keeper is bound to make more errors under pressure. The defence are likely to crumble every so often if they see the ball a lot. The midfield will generally be ineffective if the strikeforce are putting too much pressure on them and vice versa.

Sussex by the sea...
The only goal he could have done better with was the third. He hardly even closed it down and gave so much time to the attacker. Kuszczak is by far the best keeper weve seen at the albion though, in my opinion. I have been worried by his kicking in the past but generally feel comfortable with him at the back.

You have absolutely no idea about goalkeeping do you. He is a superb player, none of the goals were his fault. If you think that save in the first half was 'routine' then you are very deluded...
