Lets wait and see. You keep underestimating us though mate, will make it even more special.

To be honest I have absolutely ZERO expectation other than a defeat at Shithurst. It seems you have the upper hand in the derby games, I'm sure you'll all be on here afterwards giving it the big one, making up some chant that involves bums or us being gay zzzzzz...

As for being jealous - I just think it is incredibly funny that a player touted as the next Messi by his own deluded supporters played so dreadfully against lets be honest hardly world class opposition last night, there is thread on here and all the Palarse dribblers wade in.

In regards to other comments, I say keep on calling us the underdogs, it will make all the victories more special for us - and when you win, well isn't that what happens when you play an 'inferior' club - so hardly special.

League position defines a playoff spot, not a single derby game btw

Yes it does. And in case you didn't notice we are top of the league, unbeaten in 13, having won 10 of those games and have a fantastic manager in charge. Hench why i feel confident of gaining a play off place at worse. Is it really that hard to understand? ???

Hmm a manager who failed to get Blackpool promoted despite the parachute money and was looking down the abyss this season, who has inherited a team built by somebody who abandoned ship looking for a quick buck and was top of the league and full of confidence. I wouldnt get too excited about his ability.

You know you're at least the 6th team to top the table so far this season?

You're in a good run of form, there's no denying that other than to say that refs will wise up to winnies diving at some point, and at least 1 defender in this league will kick Winnie to pieces and get away with it, hopefully Adam El-Abd

Tbh you seem to have crossed the confident line and stepped into arrogance, something most of the Nigels on here suffer with.

Incidentally why weren't you on here a month ago?

He didn't deliver in an England shirt- because he didn't get the chance to. How on earth do you expect a 20 year old to impress when he only gets 6 minutes on the pitch in a demoralized side that just lost 4-2 after being 2-1 up?
Eh? Everything in your post is wrong. He was on for 9 or 10 minutes, not 6. You say he couldn't impress when we'd just lost 4-2, but it wasn't 4-2 when that idiot came on was it. All he did was give them possession again and again, which gave us no chance.

If we'd finished above you last year but you'd won at our gaff would you really believe that? Some of your members still have names referring to the last Brighton win over us.

I would, yes. We beat Sunderland & Newcastle at home and gave Liverpool a fright in the Carling Cup...doesn't mean that we're going to go and win it. Same as i wouldn't say that the teams that finished above us last season had a worse season. Take the premiership - Man City won the league, therefore had a better season than Man Utd.

You remind me of Arsene Wenger's quote a few years back - when discussing Man Utd winning the league, he still had the audacity to say that Arsenal were the better team...it's fallacious to presume anything else.

And where has it got you this year? Lets be honest, if both teams end up still in the same divison, the bragging rights go to the team that did the best in the derby games.

Since that's the way you want it, you can forget your last 35 years in the top two divisions, as it's derby games that count. We've done the double over you 7 times since the war, while you haven't done it once.

Very ironic statement there. Brighton fans always claim we bring up the past (5-0, 3-1 etc) And you are brining up stats dating back to the war. :D
