I love these threads. I think a lot of people secretly enjoy it and wish they were at it themselves.

As for the London thing, pretty sure it was at Kings Cross with Palace.

There were quite a few CPFC on the 19:17 from Victoria back home being very smug as well

It was a bit disconcerting being questioned by a wolves fan with a club tattoo on his face 'where your lot are to continue the agro' after the game. As quickly as it looked like we were potentially in a spot of bother about 30 of them ran after 2 18 odd year old lads who were running at Usain Bolt speed towards the ring road. We decided to go to Birmingham for a post match pint.

A backward shithole full of nutcases. The train to Wolverhampton is like getting a time machine to the 80's

Worst chant of the day "You're Just A Small Town In West Brom"

Like where the f*** is West Brom exactly ?

That chant unfortunately displays the failing level of intelligence amongst these silly children who like to think they are 'our boys'. They would have been laughed at.

The correct chant would have been 'Your just a metropolitan area of the West Midlands'.... although I'm not so sure about that one....

Did anyone who wasn't looking for aggro get hurt? If not, then just leave the ones who want to scrap to it and stop the hand-wringing.

You probably jumped back on the supporters' coach and ate the rest of your eggs sandwiches.

Surely ham and cheese ?

Hearing reports that Albion 'morons' had to defend a few shirt wearers at Victoria when Palace were putting it on them.

As I have stated there were loads of smug CPFC on the 1917 train out of Victoria which were rightly ignored

They are still about. There was a fair bit of agg after the Southend game in our promotion season. It made headlines in the Southend echo the following day.

You know what, whilst I know it's wrong on every level, some eighties part of me is privately pleased that we still have a firm capable of reminding the subbies in places like Wolverhapton and Leeds that we aren't all benders and green party voters.

Brighton has always had a seedy rough underside, just let the boys get on with it.

I agree.

All these songs back like "you're too ugly to be gay" make us look pathetic. I would much rather these lads have a go at reminding them our legacy from the 70s and early 80s lives on.

I have see some of our lads have a go at the other teams' equivelents, but, as has been said already, not at those trying to enjoy themselves in a peaceful manner. Unlike some of our friends from Scumhurst by all accounts!

I'm a bender (as are a small number on here) and I'm also a Green Party voter. If you want to square up with me mate, we'll see who can defend their corner eh ?.

err...........we were run ragged once we were in the top division.

Only a couple of times, by big london clubs. And we always stood our ground. What happened to Arsenal when they tried to take the North Stand in our first ever game in the First Division. Most times when it was taken, it was because they got in their early, and old bill protected them.

How about big tough Sunderland when they were pleading with the old bill to get us out of the Pen because we were mad, when we were in their in Ronnie Dangerous masks etc We may not have had the numbers like the big teams, but those that were there were never a push-over.

Interestingly, I met a former top lad from Millwall, who said that Brighton always had their respect for being a tough place to go. And, yes, I know that was not in the 1st Div.
