If you feel the need to stand why did you not go further back ?
And the parent is certainly not going to let you restrict their view all season !

i completely forgot about the lads a few rows infront of us,probably 7 and 10.....when bha scored the 2nd they were delivering wanker sigsn to the donny fans.....got to start them young,lol....not sure their dad saw

i had my wifes uncle and missus next ro me on one side, me and him both stood and sung our hearts out, and there was a couple of lads on my other side who stood and sung there hearts out aswell so cant complain, we are in the north stand in row v, seat 377

Introduced myself to my neighbours in the family stand block b row r yesterday. Nice people and the bloke behind me has got a young son who is visually impaired and had headphones in to listen to the commentary. Gutted I missed his expression when we scored the winner. Well pleased with my seat and view.

in WSU block I. My neighbours are chatty and loud singers. Suits me to a t. Was sitting on my seat back before the game and a guy behind me told his daughter 'he'll break that seat if he sits like that'. but he was happy to let her kick the seat next to me...

Happy with mine in W1F row L. Dad on one side, and nice enough bloke on the other, who hugged me when we scored the winner! Blokes in front of us seem decent, and the ones behind went unoticed to be fair.
Very happy with the view, sat just off (tunnel side) of the central lower west seagull, just next to the press area. The area directly next to the tunnel either side, above dugouts, is used as a VIP section and i saw Robbie Savage and Mark Mcghee Sat here. It's also where the WAG's sit so nice bit of eye candy.

We sit West Stand lower. Well impressed with the stadium and great view from our seats........but afternoon ruined by people insisting on standing up every couple of minutes. We're all for a load of shouting and a great atmosphere, but haven't paid £545 for our tickets to have to keep standing up - we would have chosen rear North if we'd wanted to stand! My mum missed both goals because of this and couldn't even see either screen for the action replays!!? A few elderly chaps behind us also had no chance. Not planning to put up with that for the whole season!

Really pleased with the seat and also the people around us. Got an aisle seat, family stand, row I. My 5 year old girls to my left, mate and his children next to her, nice bloke infront with his daughter, was great as he had brought his daughter and like me has chosen family stand for their benefit. Think he was pleased - we celebrated together, really decent guy.
Was so funny, when the North Stand broke into song, my little girl joined in immediately (was worried the noise may put her off) but nope, she was up their on both feet, hands in the air singing how she hates palarse lol, tell you what, it could have gone either way as its her first game, but she is hooked now. Buzzing all the way home and telling her mum everything that happened, how we scored 2 goals in a row to win. This was entirely her observation "daddy why are they kicking lualua?" said with pure innocense.
Really chuffed with the seat, view and new neighbours.

Isn't standing when we get a chance or close to the goal standard? Agreed standing the whole game or for the majority is abit much (aswell as the annoying 'if you hate palace' song) everyone near me in the WSL stood up when we got a chance. I thought that was to be expected?
Am in centre of WSU. Could be an interesting season. Got a brassy blonde and her family nearby who sang well, swore well and moaned about Gus's style of play.
One of our group has a "large" guy with a bit of an "odour problem" next to him (not stinky Mick thank ***k). Think in fairness will have to rotate our seating so he doesn't sit next to him every match!!!.

I'm n1a q. I was a bit worried as there was a couple with young kids behind but despite standing for most of the game it didnt seem to be an issue as they were standing on their seats. If asked i'll sit more but the mum seemed happy enough when i asked if they could see.
I think i've hot jackpot with who i'm sitting around, all seem like decent people and enjoy singing without being muppets.

I miss my neighbours from Cell block H, they moved to the dark side of the 1901 club. Got some arse of a family next to me, the bloke likes to sit there with his legs in the widest V shape ever. If he keeps invading my space and rubbing my leg with his leg he’s going to cop a right hander!

Indeed I am in WSL row C so the perspective isn't the best, so when we are attacking I stand.

i'm sorry but if the action is down one end of the stadium(by action i mean real chance of a goal) in most stadiums up and down the country people on the other side will naturally get up to have a better view, you see it all the time.
