according to the times yesterday, norwich are very much interested in signing him permanently

Got on mine when they 1st came in for Bennett. It's my fervent hope that they are bottom of the Premier League for the whole season. Not happy to accept us being Norwich's feeder club, too many seem to think it's OK and we should model ourselves on them..

Feeder Club? 2 players in 2 years, saline drip club more like.

Two BEST players in two years, how many years do they need to do it before we are allowed to get pissed off then?

Got a feeling the fact we have Gus and the prospect of playing week in week out might swing Lansbury in our favour. I hope.

He would be great signing if we got him. But I feel that Wenger likes him alot and won't let him go unless a decent price is shown. I wonder what price we would give for him?

I would have thought a season long loan with a view to sign is more realistic

Brighton - In your face
Henri Lansbury has revealed his determination to follow Jack Wilshere by breaking into the Arsenal side and England senior team next season. Lansbury came through the Gunners' youth ranks with fellow midfielder Wilshere, who has emerged as a star for club and country during the past year.

Wilshere spent the previous season on loan at Bolton before being given his big break by the Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, and Lansbury hopes his recent six-month loan spell at Norwich will produce the same result.

He has a chance to impress Wenger when he travels with England to Denmark for this month's European Under-21 Championship. "I think Arsenal's the goal now," said the 20-year-old ahead of England's warm-up friendly against Norway today. "I have to go back and give it a go from there. It's a chance for me to show the boss that I'm capable of a first-team place and it's up to me to do it."

Can't see it, sorry.

Just spoken to my boss about it who is an Arsenal season ticket holder and he was surprised that Arsenal would be looking to farm him out again as he thought he was on the brink of pushing for a first team spot. He is also mates with a Norwich season ticket holder who thought he was one of their better players last season (came runner up for the league young player of the year).

Sounds like a hell of a coup if we can land him?!?

Your probably right but in the mean time i'm still dreaming of a midfield of Bridcutt, Cork and Lansbury until it's proved otherwise. Add that to a forward trio of Hoskins, Buckley and a new star striker and we'd be well away.

Simply have to give Barnes a chance up front, he seems to be improving all the time. Had he stuck a few of those penalties away last season and some of the more glaring chances, we had a 25+ goalscorer with him. Remember he is very young and one I'm sure Gus is moulding into the all round player that suits his style of play. He also strikes me as a confidence player...I rate him and believe he deserves his chance

If they lose Nasri and Fabregas he may get a chance with Arsenal, if not then I think he will be warming the beanch and losing a year of development. He is not in the same class as Wilshere with regards to talent.

Reading the various reviews on Lansbury, and what Henri has stated himself, I don't think Arsenal will be letting him go. However, Wenger has said he will be strengthening his squad over the summer, so I can't see Lansbury getting into the first team in the short term. I think the most likely scenario is that we will get him on a season-long loan.
