You can't go wrong. Brilliant with kids. Small enough to be convenient. Big enough not to look stupid [see Chihuahua etc]. Sh*t easily manageable to pick up in nappy sacks; not like the camel sized portion a labrador produces.

Got two of them and they are GREAT. Like any dog though, invest in a few training classes for them.

You can. They look crap.

The people down the road have got a labrador. I'm going to look a right TURD walking that thing past their house. Wake up!

Is there a big dog-shooting scene, then?

Only in Korea.

Over here, you can't beat a day out on the moor, with a couple of friends, a couple of Holland & Hollands or Berretas, and a couple of Hunt, Point & Retrive Gundogs. Pheasant carnage :guns:

How is it that people who profess their love for one species of dumb animal, enjoy spending their weekends killing another?

Loving Pet Available to a Loving home

Very good with children ( he eats the whole of them and leaves no mess)
And other dogs ( very entertaining to watch him eat someones dog in 10 seconds)

Very reluctant sale ( moved out the last house because it stunk of piss and everything was chewed )

give me a 5er for some fags and white lightning

I guess you can take unwanted dogs to back to places like the RSPCA and Battersea Dogs Home. What other purpose do they serve if it's not to look after animals?

Agree. They probably have a trade-in scheme too.

Don't get a cat. They're crap, they're unhygenic and pointless. People who keep cats smell of cat pee.

Guinea pigs are the way forward.

Good question, which to be honest I probably don't have a fully acceptable (to some people) answer. My only response would be I own a dog, I eat meat, but usually get the butcher/abottoir to do the killing/messy stuff. Now and again, I like to do it for myself, and use the dogs as part of the process. Everything that is shot is eaten.

3 of these get me out of the house for hours a day

You wouldn't drive a shit looking car, just because it had a slightly better mpg than a nice one, or wear a horrible jumper just because it was slightly warmer than a really cool one.

If he's going to get a dirty, smelly, time and money-consuming shit-machine, he may as well get one that LOOKS okay?

If it is gonna get left alone for hours every day, I'd stick with the cat. It's not much fun walking a dog in winter in the dark and the rain either, too many people don't bother and have fat unhealthy dogs.
