Old school but still a cracker.
Never seen that before, superb goal.

Rohan Ince in against Swindon in the League cup. I was at the game and we just stood there for a second with our jaws on the floor, before celebrating.
The only highlight of the Sami Hyypia time as our manager (shudder)
I'm afraid we have spent too long now as a decent side in the top division to be dwelling on issues like this.
There are simply far too many ten out of ten goals.
This Maupay one was just as good. Can’t believe that that didn’t win goal of the season. I’m guessing it was because it was at Burnley only a few hundred Albion fans actually saw it live.

Me Me - I was there! The away end was pretty empty, and it was a pretty tame game - and I have a feeling I was actually sitting down. Then that happened out of nowhere! Can’t believe that that didn’t win goal of the season. I’m guessing it was because it was at Burnley only a few hundred Albion fans actually saw it live.
It was a remarkable HIT - probably only rivalled in recent years, by the Ince volley referred to earlier. For sheer technique, Skalak's goal is the best Albion I've ever seen in the flesh. Some of Mitoma's are pretty incredible too though.
Ince's goal was really nice, I think I'd still have Skalak's some way ahead, personally. Perfectly timed, laser guided precision. It was a remarkable HIT - probably only rivalled in recent years, by the Ince volley referred to earlier.
But the TECHNIQUE required to execute Mitoma's goal v Chelsea, Mitoma's run at Wolves, or the technical skills (and decision making) by multiple players to produce Izquierdo's goal at Stoke or Gros' goal at Old Trafford, far outstrip that one for me.

I also said it was the best goal I had seen in the flesh - i.e. I wasn't there for some of those.
Ulloa's in the St. Patrick's Day Massacre was sublime. We toyed with them as they just watched us play beautiful football with an end product. Poyet's Albion, when not imploding, was absolutely revolutionary. There's two against Palace that haven't had a mention yet, Ulloa's and Andone's
