Dutch players have a long standing history of falling out with team mates

The main reason imo as to why they’ve never won the WC

Just saying, not suggesting JPVH is to blame if there has been a falling out.

Brighton factually.....
So either that’s the truth- he’s simply missing because of the altercation, or there’s a lot more going on with the player but for some reason Naylor has decided to dismiss that..
In fairness it would not be the first time a journalist has decided to dismiss/omit facts or distort the truth, is it !

Nope, but not sure how it’s in Naylor’s best interests to do that. Unless he has no relationship with the club now and it’s just click bait.

You take on the current captain, and the future captain, of Brighton there will only be one loser. TeamVanHecke!

Yes. But if that is the case he isn’t showing integrity at all. A journalist with a genuine, honest investigation into a players personal issues (which would be invasive and inappropriate) would surely write the story in a way that reveals that Joao Pedro has been struggling off the field which has lead to this incident among others.
What Naylor has actually written is:

So either that’s the truth- he’s simply missing because of the altercation, or there’s a lot more going on with the player but for some reason Naylor has decided to dismiss that..
Well I can't speak for the kind of story that Naylor writes. Just that you were suggesting the club had passed him the info on the altercation, and I was saying he could easily have got the story from somewhere else.

As for the substance, if there is a lot more going on with the player, I doubt Naylor would be privy to that, not unless Pedro himself would share. Certainly not for the club to share if that was the case.

Lots of ifs, all I'm saying is that Naylor's story isnt evidence that the club want the altercation leaked. (and I really can't see why they would under any circumstance)

Thought he was great for us the for the first 18 months, then he turns up with a new hairdo and has spent the last 5 months trying his hardest to get sent off, is it a coincidence that the Liverpool rumours started around the same time 🤔
Does Andy Naylor know if Pedro has got the Duolingo app and is learning scouse 🤷‍♂️

Dutch players are famous for this. Even Ted Lasso had a Dutch centre back who had zero filter and they made a quip “he is Dutch. It is how they are” or something like that.

And yet Joao Pedro was picked as captain AHEAD of Van Hecke and described as a ‘role model’ by Hurzeler against Arsenal in January.
As Hürzeler himself says, he’s still learning.
