living vicariously
The e-Niro has a larger interior and boot and is more suitable for more than 2 people and hence the more expensive option. The Kona (I have one) is more compact and ideal for just the two of us. e-Niro 7 years warranty, Kona 5 years so anything younger still covered is a big bonus.I think the time has come for me to retire my old Suzuki Swift.
I want to go electric. I would need a car to get to Sussex and back without having to charge.
So, real world range of 220 miles
I love the look of the Kia EV3, but I don't think I can justify €36k, and a lease looks like I'd have to spend about half of that in 3 years.
So, looking second hand. Budget to around £16k?
Hyundai Kona 64kw and Kia e-niro 64kwh seem to fit the bill with about 240 miles.
Any other suggestions?
As you have already discovered, these are the two most suitable EVs IMO for your needs at your price point. These are the gems of the second hand market.
