I use Facebook and Insta mainly to follow things I am interested in, especially small bands, bars, cafes and restaurants etc as this is often all they have to spread their message. Both these seem okay as you only get their content, and I actually feel these 'add' to my life . Twitter does seem quite a different animal though.
Twitter used to be alright.

It was simple enough to manage and curate your feed so you only saw stuff you were interested in. There were always dickheads on there but I rarely encountered them.

Then Musk got involved and it went to absolute shit. Dickheads pushed to the top of your feed relentlessly.

I logged out in October and haven't missed it at all.

EDIT: Interestingly I've also stopped using Instagram as well. I was seeing two or three posts from people I follow and then just an absolute barrage of ad posts and random crap I wasn't interested in.

…..whereas Joey Barton’s slide down the divisions playing career, blink and you will miss it England career and managerial prowess blows Neville’s out the water…..obvs. That’s before we’ve even got onto media and Barton’s tin pot podcast versus Neville’s numerous interests.

Gary Neville is everything Barton wants to be: talented, intelligent, respected and most importantly still relevant.

And yet loads of people rave about GNev as a pundit and think he's the best of the bunch.

But yeah, let's go with the opinion of the convicted gobshite with a permanent chip on his shoulder, shall we? :lolol:
Neville was a shit manager, I think he may even concede that himself, that doesnt reflect though at all on his further past as a decorated footballer, nor on his present abilities as a pundit. He was both a very good player and is a very good pundit and he also comes across as a thoroughly decent human being

Joey Barton was always a violent wrong un, who could just pick a pass. He was a bang average and ultimately failed lower league manager, is a total cretin in his neandathal views on many issues and comes across as a total prat by trying to project himself as some form of intellectual deep thinker, when hes nothing more than a gobby scouse scally
