I've decided to do something else now but i'm disappointed that having been led to believe that i've won a competition with a decent prize - that in fact the club or the Amex promo team weren't actually going to fulfill it . but presumably there are others in the same boat.

ie: send you a confirmation email with start time, and your ticket.

Trying to contact Amex directly about it is virtually impossible. Of course there's no "promo team" listed on their website etc.
and contacting the Albion results in them saying its nothing to do with us. (bit disengenuous but fair enough) .

Well fancy that but after several chats to supporter services - i just received an email confirming i had a pair of tickets, and details of start times etc.

Very sad to hear about Dick, hope he makes a speedy recovery. Club legend - ie without him we very possibly wouldn’t have a club. To be honest, think this story deserves its own thread, but I’m sure Dick would be mortified!
