One of my lads is on the BA2620 LGW to Montpellier which should have left at 7.15am and is still on the tarmac at LGW now, 90 minutes later. For those of you omit, the trains from Montpellier to Marseilles are also fecked, they’ve shunted the 10.58am into the 12.58pm, and if you miss that the next one is 2.58pm which gets into Marseilles at 4.35pm and leaves barely 30 minutes before ticket collection closes. Might be worth someone notifying the club, because there are about 90 BHA on that flight, apparently. And that could get messy if ticket collection closes.
Any chance we can have another thread tracking their progress, will add to the excitement!

Everyone on that flight has done a mixed bag given it was late and the trains are goosed. I'm currently on a train to Avignon and looking to get into Marseille at 16 12 French time (about 2 hours later than planned), some got the flexibus which was full, others a 240 euro Uber and a 2 hour drive. The joys of public transport.

It wouldn’t be an Albion match without some level of complaining about the travel, when are the French building that monorail?

Currently on the TGV from Paris. Can’t wait. I’ve come all this way to sample the atmosphere of a European away day and it sounds like it won’t disappoint.
In fairness, just go to anything bigger than a country fete here. We can’t organise anything either!

It seems that people are reluctant to get on the busses this early so they aren’t leaving as not full. I predict issues later on.

Infinitely better to get on the bus you have access to now, rather than the one you may have problems accessing later. First law of regular bus/train commuters. So what if you get there a bit early? It may turn out you need every bit of that extra time to get into the stadium. Do yourself a favour and be at least a little bit smart

Sat in the waffle shop (wonderful milkshake), looks like more coaches arriving that not been here before. Maybe enough to move 3500 in one go. Will make return better.

If you are in the square, my advice would be to get on a bus sooner rather than later. Everyone is gunning for 4pm and for the hour after that it will be mad. We decided to go early to enjoy the stadium. Got on a 3pm and we’ve gone nowhere. I’ve had 5 pints and think I may be asking someone for their empty water bottle.
