Thank the stars for our great start, as it's likely that we'll see zero points from nine. We looked shocking in the first half, and although far better in the second, we still looked so easy to score against.
Watkins is damn good, to give him his due, but defensively we are woeful.
I would have taken where we are at the start of this season, and the poor results (West Ham and today), but I am concerned about the next few matches and a very likely slide down the table.
We simply don't look 'strong' enough.

Stuart Pearce makes some very good points on Talksport. While Brighton aren't playing well, ir's refereeing decisions that are making the difference in games - two goals disallowed on another day, a penalty for Brighton for that handball, and a red card for Konsa - and it all would look very different. And as Pearce also pointed out, every deflection has gome Villa's way too.
Good old Stuart. It wouldnt look that much different - we'd have lost about 4-2 if everything had gone our way.

We simply don’t have the strength in depth. If I were Bloom and RDZ I’d start focusing on the PL and play the kids in Europe. We’re not going to win the Europa so we want to play our strongest team week in week out in the PL.
It's a problem, we seem to be getting caught in the middle here, playing a ' nearly' team each game and coming up short. It might be a case of going all in for one.
