You did not quote me but i presume this is meant for me so i will answer as best as i can.
The shed end has 7 lower sections and 7 upper sections. The first and last are the ones that wrap around the corners and are therefore the biggest by far, both of these being about 1500 seats so a total of about 3000. Even though SL1 and SU7 are blacked out on our ticket site they have not been opened and SU1 and SL7 are not shown at all thus the stated capacity of 6,600 has to be reduced by 3000 to about 3600.
I have also counted the seats in each section as they have been released and make it currently 3519 including the 116 released in SU6 today. So although i may have missed a few i have not missed over 1000. We may yet open more as evidenced by Man City tickets today.

How aggressive are they at checking tickets at Stamford bridge? My friend just dropped out and now I have a spare with his name on it, wondering if it’s just money lost

Yeah you’re probably right, think I’d be devastated to cause him a 10 game ban. That’s a shame

Not content with pinching our players, coaches, staff I see The Chels are sporting hyperturq* this afternoon at Bournemouth.

*I recognise they did have an away kit or two in this shade in the 80s

Surely the gamble/risk is the wasted journey bit.

I agree this is not the time for a ban/50 point deduction however, I’ve only been ID checked once and that was at Selhurst.

The ID checks were clearly visible so at this point simply do a u turn (and have a wasted journey)

I support the measures generally as me and the boy have worked our way up the tiers by putting the hours in sticking to the rules, however in a situation like this where there are tickets for all, firstly i can’t see why the club would bother with checks and secondly I can’t see any harm in a bit of rule bending and as there is only 5 points up for grabs is it worth deliberately harvesting? (although at this point I am putting my tin hat on and am happy to take criticism)

My mate was up for a random check at OT yesterday and trying to find out where he could collect his ticket was met by some “dunno mate” from the BHA stewards and some wrong directions before he finally located the place (not the end of the world admittedly but you would have thought they’d be briefed)

Bit confused what you mean here. My ticket yesterday was just on my phone, why was your mate having to pick his ticket up? Wondering if that’s why he got ID’d.

Honestly in all the games I’ve ever been to both home and away I’ve never even seen someone get ID’d. So naturally it’ll happen to me if I try it once 🤣

I’ve only missed one away game since the scheme came in and the only random ID checks I’ve seen take place were Wolves away last season. Maybe I’ve just not seen them at other games. Only had one friend called up for ticket collection as well.

I know plenty that have had to collect tickets (me included) but not seen any ID checks at away games except at the shithole up the road.

Have we sold our allocation for this?

Instead of receiving his ticket on his phone he received an email telling him he had to pick it up in person at Old Trafford and to bring ID

For the league last season in April, I was going with my 2 lads. One of them tested positive for Covid the day before. We ummed & arred about taking a friend but decided against it. At one stage we were thinking I'd just say he lost his wallet down the pub the night before with DL in it if challenged, but thought better of it. There was no Albion staff at the gates checking tickets so we could have done it easily.

Of course that doesn't mean it will be the same this time!

Honestly, the Club are not unreasonable people. Give them a call, explain the situation and see what their solution is. It might be that they cancel a ticket and re-list it, which will sell. Our allocation will sell out for sure.
