Three games in seven days where I believe RDZ will mix things up. We’ll see the debuts of Igor and Baleba. Facundo will be back and even Webster is certain to get a game.

Perhaps like this……

Vs Athens:
————————-Steele————————-
Milner—-—--Dunk——-Igor———Estupinan
——————Groß—-Dahoud——————-
March—————Pedro———-——-—-Fati
——————-—Ferguson————————

Vs Bournemouth:
———————Verbruggen———————-
Veltman——-JPVH——--Dunk——Estupinan
——————Gilmour—-Groß——————-
March—————Lallana—————Mitoma
———————-Welbeck————————

Vs Chelsea:
———————Verbruggen———————
Milner——Webster——Igor———-Lamptey
————-—Baleba—Dahoud——————
Adingra——-—Buonanotte—-—-—Mitoma
————————Pedro————————--
Your post reminds me of the speech Tony Bloom gave in the dressing room at the end of last season where he promised he would assemble a squad to fight for 4 trophies. He's a man of his word.

I reckon RDZ has something very similar to your line ups scrawled on a notepad, but is always aware that even after the Chelsea game, we have Villa away 3 days later!

Even with the incredible squad we have, we need to avoid injury and suspension if we can over the next few weeks

Veltman's played over 50 European games, mostly in the Champions League & is a far, far better RB
Yes, Veltman should be playing right back, but I think RDZ is certain to use other players like Milner and Lallana with Euro experience

We can (just about) field a full team of players with (in some cases very little) experience in European competitions:

...............................Vergbruggen
Milner.........Veltman....Igor...........Pervis
..........Gilmour.....Lallana....Dahoud...
Adingra........Welbeck..........Ansu Fati

Plus the injured Moder (10 European matches at Lech) and if you accept the Asian Champions League as an equivalent - Kaoru Mitoma...

If I were in RDZ's position I would definitely utilise the European experience of Milner and Dahoud. Probably start Fati over Mitoma and I guess Igor could make a debut based on the same logic.

Would be my guess.
I cannot imagine Lallana or Welbeck starting two games 5 days apart.
Lamptey will need looking after such a long time out.

whoever plays thursday, and sunday, is going to get a helluva lot of a practice at breaking down the low block.... pretty sure neither AEK nor 'muff will be stooopid enough to come out the blocks at us, they will both sit in and hope to disrupt and frustrate us.

question is: how do we score first? shoot on sight? or try to walk it in? the former might have worked better agaiunst WHU for example..

Apparently AEK play a high pressing game, and don't change that for anyone, so it might be an interesting game...

Verbruggen
Veltman Dunk Van Hecke Estupinan
Milner Dahoud
Adingra Fati Mitoma
Welbeck

I think he'll want to put as much European experience into the side so I think Fati is nailed on to start the game, along with Veltman and Milner in particular.
Where’s Gross? He IS European! Lived there presumably for 20plus years before coming to us.

Hard press, high defensive line, manager disciple of Bielsa.
