Agreed, and i still believe Milner will get the nodVeltman's played over 50 European games, mostly in the Champions League & is a far, far better RB

Yer not sure I want to see milner at RB ever again. He's simply not good enough there. Defensive mid late sub would be preferable.Veltman's played over 50 European games, mostly in the Champions League & is a far, far better RB
Your post reminds me of the speech Tony Bloom gave in the dressing room at the end of last season where he promised he would assemble a squad to fight for 4 trophies. He's a man of his word.Three games in seven days where I believe RDZ will mix things up. We’ll see the debuts of Igor and Baleba. Facundo will be back and even Webster is certain to get a game.
Perhaps like this……

Yes, Veltman should be playing right back, but I think RDZ is certain to use other players like Milner and Lallana with Euro experienceVeltman's played over 50 European games, mostly in the Champions League & is a far, far better RB
We can (just about) field a full team of players with (in some cases very little) experience in European competitions:Yes, Veltman should be playing right back, but I think RDZ is certain to use other players like Milner and Lallana with Euro experience

Apparently AEK play a high pressing game, and don't change that for anyone, so it might be an interesting game...whoever plays thursday, and sunday, is going to get a helluva lot of a practice at breaking down the low block.... pretty sure neither AEK nor 'muff will be stooopid enough to come out the blocks at us, they will both sit in and hope to disrupt and frustrate us.
question is: how do we score first? shoot on sight? or try to walk it in? the former might have worked better agaiunst WHU for example..
Where’s Gross? He IS European! Lived there presumably for 20plus years before coming to us.Verbruggen
Veltman Dunk Van Hecke Estupinan
Milner Dahoud
Adingra Fati Mitoma
Welbeck
I think he'll want to put as much European experience into the side so I think Fati is nailed on to start the game, along with Veltman and Milner in particular.
I'd probably go with this, but with JPVH on the right and Dunk on the left of course ...................... but lord knows what line up de Zerbi will pick!Verbruggen
Veltman
Dunk
JPvH
Pervis
Gross
Gilmour
March
Pedro
Mitoma
Ferguson
Hard press, high defensive line, manager disciple of Bielsa.Apparently AEK play a high pressing game, and don't change that for anyone, so it might be an interesting game...
