Ditto. The timing could not be worse as Julio's transformation from an enthusiastic youngster to a rapidly maturing lynchpin of our attack was happening before our eyes at great pace.

We were really beginning to see Enciso's full potential and this progress has come to an immediate halt.
Gutted for him but the timing could be worse for us. 2nd September for instance (assuming we do sign some more players in this window).

Aren't you all kinds of pleasant?

You told us you have it filed under bullshit as well as rumo(u)r.

If someone knows something to be fact, then it's not bullshit.
It is until it comes from an official channel. We need to stop giving power to rumor mongers and the like on social media.

He will be missed. But, there seems to be a bit of an elevation of his abilities here.
It was not uncommon last season for him to have a stormer of a game and then go off the boil and bit for a few. Likewise, for periods in a game. He had a great game against the Wolves. There is no evidence that that is now his consistent level. Based on past data he may well have blown cold for the next few games.
The real blow is him being able to mature and develop to remove the cold periods of his play.

To be fair, he was a young lad, in a different country, in a fast physical league, who struggled at first, but got stronger, in fact Chelsea onwards I would say his performances were of a consistently high calibre.

He’s been ordinary in pre-season, but frankly who cares, as soon as the season started he was on it.

Solly March has had the same torrid time twice in his career. In his case, it was ACL on his knee, so out for the season. The club dealt with it very well, and all the managers since then have played him, developing further.

Poor kid- he got clattered hard twice vs Wolves. Quite possible that's where the injury started. Sometimes you can hurt something else when compensating for an existing injury. (Mike Yaxley told me that).

He's one of those players who can conjure up that little bit of magic. Always looks happy too. I'm a bit gutted to be honest.

My first game of the season today and was really looking forward to watching Enciso strut his stuff. Hope he gets back to full fitness soon, his performance last weekend was his best overall yet, very promising!

Gutting as he’s fast becoming a superstar.

I do think someone needs to look at the injury issues we’re having under RDZ because something somewhere is going wrong. We’re getting many of them, and we’re getting them pretty damned consistently. It’s a massive concern.

Other than Moder who feels like he has been injured since the Dinosaurs went extinct, I think Julio is our only injured player?

We have a few fragile players like Lallana, Webster, Lamptey but nothing has changed there since RDZ came in

Is it?

Are we?

Is it?

I genuinely hadn't noticed an increase.
End of last season we were scraping the barrel for players with all the injuries we had. Surely you noticed that?

Now we’re without one of our big attackers for 4 months after only 2 games.

I don’t think I’ve said anything that crazy. We have a high intensity game. It requires a certain type of physical training. It’s often been the case with similar style teams, like Klopp’s Liverpool.
