Given Moises’ stance and the phenomenal fee, I wonder if Albion actually pushed for this in the end. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we actively drew Liverpool back in, rather than trying too hard to keep him once the toys came out of the pram.

Strange vibes this morning - this thread (and even Fab Rom) seems to think Liverpool is pretty much a done deal. The Chelsea forum (unusually grown up) agrees, and is mainly pissed off that Boehly just didn't bid early and disppointed Caicedo's not going there - but Talksport (and the BBC) are still way behind that - Talksport talking about a Liverpool bid (I've only just woken up, so I may have misheard, but they certainly aren't saying anything about fees agreed, medicals, etc) and BBC just saying that Liverpool are the favourites.

Fingers crossed for Liverpool to get it over the line. Should we offer a straight £50M, cash up front, to Southampton? Just for giggles, like! Kudus can just wait for Chelsea......,

I wonder what that Celery prick thinks...

All poxy summer we've had their tosspot armchair fans goading us. This is so delicious. The 2nd best outcome behind him staying.

Tossers. Should have paid the fee. It could have been sorted weeks ago.

Good luck to him. And well done Tony. Just proving once again that he can't be messed with.

So now Brighton are left without a key player, with no funds coming in, a manager in frustration and a dressing room in confusion.

The word on the street is that Kudus isn't signing because Brighton won't include a transfer release clause. I knew the Caicedo stance would come back to bite Tony Bloom, just didn't realise karma would act so swiftly. Time to let Moises go for the £80m-£90m. Keeping him has no benefit to the club from this point forward.
Comments? Oh, you can't.

I'm sure you have loads on your mind.

Lol.

Can't wait to hear from 'Jon Doe' and the celery-botherer about this.

'He's shit, we never wanted him anyway' etc etc :lolol:

Losestanley will probably go, too. He's on a job-share at the moment anyway, so they won't miss him.

Another Bloom Blinder!

Well…. Moises supposedly having his Red medical today for £110 m.
I have to say that if it does go ahead, the thought of seeing the two Brighton lads playing with Virgil, Trent, Diaz, Salah and Co under Klopp, could be a thing if real beauty.
I just hope my blue and white half can make the most of the money as they usually do!😁
If….. it happens ofc.

At the wrath of some, I’m pleased for him. He was superb for us. I’m not convinced the noises were ever from Moises directly and I still firmly believe, had he stayed, he would have given 100% again, like he did after January. It’s an amazing amount of money for the Albion. I certainly won’t be booing him. I suspect we did imply he could go this summer and we all knew he would once the bid was high enough. Credit to Liverpool for making a decent offer on the first go. And ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha - Chelsea

Fair play to the 19 people who said he'd go to Liverpool (unless they were all votes from yesterday 😂)

Still staggered that more than 300 people thought he wasn't going anywhere. I mentioned this a few weeks ago that there are some people on NSC smoking strong stuff; totally bonkers.

Don't do drugs, kids 😂

Stringing along Chelsea fans all summer on this one and then BAM, he’s off to Liverpool for about £30m more than they all thought it would take. Hilarious stuff.
We didn’t string Chelsea fans along. We kept saying you’re not bidding enough but they wouldn’t take us seriously.

It was only 11 people yesterday.
It’s possible to change votes in this new format. 😉
