Hazard is still mine :lolol:

He looked absolutely untouchable against us for Chelsea one game, can’t remember what year that was.
First year in the PL wasn’t it……remember sitting in WSL almost open-mouthed. He shredded us. Liverpool did the same that season - looked like they going to score every time they broke. Terrifying.

Argies just warming into a few dark arts . . . . And score.

THey're not that good though. Just a few good players.

One shot on target one goal…. Poor footwork from Maty, might have been unsighted though.

This game needed a goal. I was hoping for maybe a sneaky Australian goal to really put the drama on.

A taller keeper would got a hand to that

I think what bugs me so much about the Messi hype is the way he gets absolutely gushing praise for doing really quite basic stuff. That goal was a decent finish which most top level players would expect to take in that position, but because it’s Messi it’s “a moment of magic” and “world class”.

If Rashford or Foden score exactly the same goal tomorrow they’ll get a tenth of the praise for it.

Is anybody else irrationally annoyed when commentators trot out the records when a team scores first.

So you're telling me, in a sport where games are often decided by a single goal, scoring first... is an advantage?

Think yourself lucky this game isn't on ITV, if it was he'd be 'writing his own scripts' by now

They look okay to me. Containing Australia with ease and have scored to take the lead. If you have designs on winning the tournament this is exactly the performance you need at this stage .

That’s so weak from Ryan
Bit harsh.
The games not played in slo-mo, I bet in real time through all those legs, Ryan didn't have a chance.

Jocko hammered the ball in, the fella didn't have a chance to close control, but it popped out to Lesser Mac Allister who hit it first time.

You've got to expect a goal 9 times out of 10.
