My son has already asked if he can have Caicedo's name and number 25 on his new shirt for next season!

He's quality and only going to get better

It seems fitting that such an exciting prospect has been given an Albion legend's squad number

Today I came to the conclusion he's different because he can see the game in slow motion.

So many times today Wolves had moved the ball around Moises and yet in the blink of an eye he's got the ball at his feet and is driving the other way.

A frightening talent.

Yes it’s his speed of thought that puts him in a different class

I’ve had a couple of beers tonight,( it’s my birthday)but, I honestly believe, if we can hang on to him, he will be our best ever player.

Moises Caicedo [Latest: recalled from Beerschot]

I’ve had a couple of beers tonight,( it’s my birthday)but, I honestly believe, if we can hang on to him, he will be our best ever player.

I think the club and Potter really wanted to use him regularly from this coming September but due to our poor form and injuries, he has forced his way into the team.

It’s difficult to imagine why Potter would not pick him now. He likes a goal and assist for Ecuador too, those will be coming soon I suspect.

The Iranians told us Ali J needed to play every game and he was dogshit.
The South Africans told us Tau needed to play every game and he was dogshit.
The Ecuadorians told us Caicedo needed to play every game… and they were absolutely spot on.

The bloke is a f*cking monster. The fact we got him for £6,000,000 is almost insulting. Two of our goals today came after he won the ball. He’s genuinely the kind of player that makes you worry you’ve overrated every other good player we’ve had over the last 5 seasons.

It is a crying shame it looks like Biss is off, because that triangle of Moises, Biss and Mwepu is a Top 10 midfield. Our defence was already good, and when Trossard, Mac and Welbeck are all firing we are a handful.

BBC football correspondent for South America reckoned he was the best young talent on the continent.

If he'd have been Brazilian, I'm not sure we would have got him.

I thought he was clearly getting too excited about him. Perhaps he wasn't.
