Why, even when they know that back up is coming, does the bad guy decide to walk slowly toward the injured hero and decide to have a chat all about their plan before actually killing them thus giving the hero all the knowledge they need and time to be saved.

Additionally - why does Jack Bauer still get access to unarmed suspects whilst also keeping his gun?
Why do his superiors still get surprised when the inevitable happens?

Why can't bad guys shoot straight?

Always makes me chuckle that one. There can be 3 or 4 baddies all armed with automatic guns spraying 100's of rounds a minute at the hero, all of which miss him, then the hero will take 3 or 4 individual shots with his pistol and take out all the baddies. :lolol:

i know this one. its where the writer knows. example, the War of the Worlds aliens invaded Surrey as thats an area HG Wells knew. film writers tend to live in and around NewYork and LA.

Blimey! Makes sense now I know.

But the bloke who wrote Sleepless in Seattle was from Burslem....!!!

Why is the hero not utterly distracted because he is desperate for a slash?
Because they never stop drinking and they never nip to the loo before chasing the baddie.
