We came close to buying one for my late dad, but decided against as were unsure if the style/location was going to be great....having seen the results we're glad we didn't bother - as you say the stones weren't cheap and like you, we'd be well miffed. Definitely think the club need to do something about this, good luck!

Me and my sister were both very disappointed with our fathers memorial stone. The finished article was complete contrast to the literature we had thrust in our hands when we were at the AMEX to book season tickets. Writing simply doesn't stand out at all (questionable choice of colour) and the stone appears a far darker grey than shown on the proof. They're not wearing well, so any longetivity of individual or overall effect is very remote. This sort of product must be common place now, so how did they get the finish so wrong?

Probably quite laudable that they chose to use a friend of the albion but you are right, it hasnt worked. At the Millenium stadium where my father in law has a stone, you could choose a black or gold lettering option (slightly more for gold) but the quality on both is good and they are still visible 12 years on. They are on the ground on the walkway between the stand and the river so vehicles must go over them as well without causing a problem
Please add certificate number 1324 to the list please.

So far, I have received NO response at all from either the Club nor Parkers. I have been a little busy to chase it up this week, but I intend to devote time this Friday to chivvy things along.
Pretty poor show from both camps in that they cannot/will not even acknowledge a polite e-mail, let alone acknowledge that there is a problem and that there is some strength of feeling amongst the large number of disappointed fans.
