Wilbrahim is probably one of the worst strikers in the country, but you already know that, don't you ? ???

Good hold up play, but never a goalscorer .
Division 1 level tbh.

Haha are you really that deluded? Do you think our chairman would sell our best striker since Zamora to our rivals? I doubt they would accept 15m from you lot even if he needed the money. It would go into melt down on here and in the stands.

It would .

Why can't people separate 'they could well be interested and bidding' from 'he will definitely go'?

Why wouldn't Palace be interested? The bloke destroyed them recently so they know what he can do, and terrorises defences every week. He is class, and we all know he could play in the Prem.

The story is hardly bollocks just because it is everyone's worst nightmare.

Because, as their fans tell us, they don't think any of our players are good enough to get in their team. Holloway must be trying to turn the fans against him...

I'd take Bridcutt and Ulloa in a heartbeat.

The problem is, as supporters, we put a higher price tag on our favourite players.
But a chairman has to put on his business head on ,and make sound financial decisions for the good of the club.
On the face of it, to double your money in under a year is good business, but TB would be committing suicide by selling him to us.
Ulloa has been with us for 6 months and has proven to be a talented goal scorer.
He was out of shape for last season, when compared to this.
He's now playing better under a new manager, a relationship that has only lasted a month.

I don't see it as too much of a gamble to think Ulloa has the potential of having an 8 figure value, this time next year.

Therefore 'only' doubling your money wouldn't be good business it would be very short sighted.

Even if we were skint(which we are not) and even if Ulloa was for sale(which he is not, but then everyone has there price). Palace would not be the only club interested and Tony Bloom is a real fan, not just a hobby chairman. There is no way he would sell to Palace.

Just like Glenn Murray eh? He didn't exactly part the waves to keep him did he?

Won't happen, but if it does it would cause a massive rift between the club and the fans.
Letting our best striker go to Palace once is bad, twice would be suicide, I think you'd even hear sack the board sung in the stands again.
No, it won't happen.

Murray was out of contract so completely different case as we had no choice to who we lost him to, and yes we didn't seem to try that hard to keep him for what ever reason.

This is very true, but no one knows what's around the corner.
Look at Murray, out for 9 months minimum, and if we weren't promoted, we would be paying his £20 k wages for no return.

Also if he keeps his goals to game ratio going this season he will be the leagues top scorer, his price tag will double due to that, nope, Tony likes a gamble so he won't go anywhere this season.

Our special relationship with Palace is going to be severely tested by this

Big piece in The Sun that we've offered £5 mill for Leo.
Would you sell for that ?
Thoughts ladies and gents.

I've no doubt we will get bids from premier league teams and we will struggle to keep hold of Ulloa, But in all honesty he's good enough to play for much better clubs than Palace.

But that's football, if you worried about that happening, then no team would ever sign anyone.

Is that a joke? Palace's favourite song last season to us was '30 goals, thanks a lot'. The only two decent Palace posters on here have just said they would snap Ulloa up. They would love it.

The point here is not whether Palace might want him, which they almost certainly do.

The main point is whether Bloom will sell, and what price if any would trigger it. That has to be influenced by our lack of strikers (ie it has to be massive). We are already over-reliant on Ulloa, and need another one if he stays with the injuries. If he goes, it is two including one really big buy.

And the other point if this is true is how much Ulloa would like to play in the Premier League, and what he is prepared to do and say about that between now and Monday.

We've waited a long time for a striker who just knows how to put the ball in the net. They're not so easy to find so I can't imagine Tony letting him go unless seriously silly money was on offer.

Yeah, fair point. I suppose his destination was out of your hands.
